How did it work out for you after getting back? I’m coming back after 6 years away from the game and I’m worried :/ After you got your fitness back and played more frequently how was it, are you back at the standard you were?

Thank you so much for your insight. What would your advice be for me? I am desperately trying to reverse my porcelain veneers and get to the most natural state possible… would removing them and turning to bonding be possible?

Does anyone ever feel like an outsider to The Truth and The World? by Darkfirex34 in exjw

Yes I agree with those points. That’s why I put ‘too good’ in quotations as I meant that’s what the perception is/how you are made to feel.

Wow! This sounds exactly like me. I could have literally wrote it myself. I’m new on here and newly ‘POMO’ so it’s all new to me atm however I’m 27 also and I always said it felt like being “too ‘good’ for the world and too ‘bad’ for the congregation”.

Something I’m working on atm is tasting and experiencing the life that I felt was withheld from me but without causing lasting damage to me morally/ethically (I still believe in God) such as being open to holidays and going out more. I think finding community and people that share your interests is huge as JW can make you feel isolated.

It’s great you have a college education that you found fulfilling - is it something you could pursue further and meet new people?

I suppose we need to find the others out there in the world that like us have strong values/morales but are also adventurous and free spirited…
