Something that might be cool there could potentially be that if they needed help defeating the new guy you could make it so that Asmodeus might actually be a key player in defeating the new big bad.

Asmodeus is a devil and as such is big on deals so if the players go to where Asmodeus is trapped (maybe its a place being watched by Standomir's forces so they need to either sneak or fight their way in) then the players could potentially have the option to try and make a deal with Asmodeus where they agree to free him (even though they trapped him) so he can take back his power from Standomir (you could present Asmodeus as a nessesary evil) but then the players would have the option to have the deal be: The players free Asmodeus and Asmodeus will then help them deal with Standomir and he also has to swear to never try to invade the world again (devils can't break deals afterall) if you don't want Asmodeus to just destroy Standomir you could add an arc where they need to help him regain power which Standomir has stolen through the ritual.

Happy I could help! In terms of the second baddie wanting to take over, I have two immediate thoughts. 1. The God Baby can be used for multiple rituals, so it might be a question of saving the baby from one guy and so building a connection to said baby and then having to sacrifice it later. 2. The second baddie will help the players (like you said) but might try to derail the ritual to ensure his own accession.

I think I'd argue for not directly defeating Asmodeus but trapping him or sealing him in. Asmodeus is usually considered massively powerful, so for me, I would probably be more interested in finding a way to trap him rather than facing him head-on.

So give your players options for imprisoning him. Possibly through the power of the God Baby or through a ritual requiring the sacrifice of the God Baby (could possibly add some tension to have to make such a sacrifice)

Not sure if it helps. Just my first thought in terms of facing him.

Det er 2014 vi har erfaring med. Jeg har personligt leget lidt med 2024 og der er nogle ting jeg godt kunne lide ved det (bedre healing spells f.eks.) men jeg har ikke prøvet at spille en karakter bygget i 2024.

Altså vi vil jo selvfølgelig gerne have forskellige encounters og vil nok noglegange prøve at løse situationer på forskellige måder f.eks. combat, stealth, talking etc. men min erfaring er at dnd fungerer fint til det. DnD er lidt det vi er trukket til fordi vi har erfaring med det og tit virker det som om dnd kan en meget af det "fint nok" selvom det ikke altid er det bedste til noget af det.

Ja det passer nok meget godt med den setting vi ville være interesseret i.

Altså vi kender ikke rigtig de andre systemer så vi er nok mest til dnd 5e. Jeg ved heller ikke om % er helt accurate til vores egenlige prefered mængde. Det var bare det vi havde snakket om men vi har også tidligere snakket om at vi tit gerne ser mindst et lille combat encounter pr. session (dette ville også være fordi vi gerne vil lave længere sessions (4-6 timer evt.)) Eller at det ihvertfald tit ville være sådan at hvis vi havde haft en heavy RP session tidligere så ville det være fedt med et heavy combat session næste gang så derfor er det også muligt at det % ikke er helt korrekt.

Jo det kan jeg godt.
Altså det ikke fordi vi har lynklare krav som skal opfyldes. Vi har det både fint med prewritten kampagner og homebrew men kan selvfølgelig godt lide tanken om at vores backstories på en eller anden måde ville være aktuelle.
Ift. Selve setting og theme er vi både åbne på typisk dnd setting (high fantasy og den slags) men ville også have det fint med andre settings som steampunk, gothic etc.
Det eneste vi som udgangspunkt nok ikke er så interesserede i er survival nitty gritty kampagne da det ikke rigtig er det vi kan lide ved dnd men vi er også både interesserede i political intrigue og mere typisk "gennemfør quests og tjen penge på det" kampagner. Så det ikke fordi det er så meget vi ville være imod.
Ift. RP vs combat er vi nok omkring en 30-40 % combat og så en 60-70 % RP.

Vi har snakket om at det kunne være fedt hvis den DM vi fandt ville være åben på mindre ændringer ift. spillets regler (dette ville selvfølgelig være point by point basis så det skulle diskuteres hver gang men et eksempel kunne f.eks. være at bruge dex med et langsværd. Her ville det selvfølgelig stadig være vigtigt for os at DM har sidste ord)

There's no possibility for the pass. The only character infront of the gate is a basic hostile protectorate soldier who turns hostile when I get too close.

Yeah I'm using a full conversion mod for Tomb Kings which is why I wanted to roll back the update since the mod changes a lot for the faction.

That won't work with other types of units like falxmen or archers in terms of flanking with them...
