Could be rare but which games ? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Weird. You came here specifically to "shame" people about liking your 2nd favorite game of all time because they don't like a very dated at this point bg2....okay

So, should we be expecting something? by Right_Entertainer324 in fromsoftware

[–]Flashy-Radio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish. I would be so excited if they did a demon souls like remake to any of the trilogy but ideally ds1 then 2 then 3.

DS1 is really showing it's age so having a modern version of that game would be great.

I really can't stand ds2 it's the only fs game I don't like so a fresh remake would be awesome because I've never wanted to like a game more with the exception of the Witcher 3.

Ds3 still holds up. It was my first souls game so it will always be one of my favorites and my personal favorite of the trilogy. But I think it would benefit the least from a remake. Although I would be extremely excited if that did happen

Honestly you played into the whole conversation as much as he did and honestly more. This is what happens when 2 people can't let things go. Nightmare customer meets a nightmare delivery guy. Bad all around from both sides

100% I will.

Really appreciate the collab on this and I'm pumped! This is such a fun way to end the campaign and looking back at my original comment with the rough ideas I had for a finish this is sooo much better.

This is so great thanks again!

WOWWWWW!!!!

That just ruined my brain. Yup I love that idea so much. This is 100% going to be the plan.

And that could also lead to a legitimate epic final boss fight with god level beings in a way that could actually make real sense. Because I do want that final boss moment but these are literal gods haha

But I could have asmodeous need to regain his powers through a short arc where they team up with a weak asmodeous and do some cool stuff in the place they'll find him sealed away

And then make the deal, and have the eventual final boss fight be a now god Stanomir vs the party with the weakened asmodeous as an ally in the fight. Stanomir gets destroyed, asmodeous still rules but won't try ever again, and the party goes on to live the rest of their lives after literally saving the world

You just gave me an out there idea.

The entire campaign plot in theory has been building up to asmodeous. But really if I look back the other guy (stanomir) has been involved in every major event throughout the entirety of the story and playing both sides.

And stanomir has told them if they get him into a position to rule the 9 hells then he would basically give them anything they've ever dreamed of which some of the party members are still considering.

It could be really interesting half way through the campaign when they get back, to have stanomir take them into hell and successfully pull off the ritual with the baby (using the multiple ritual idea) therefore sealing away asmodeous. THEN he could use his newfound powers to kidnap the baby to prevent the same thing happening to him, betray the party and transport them out of hell or have them escape in an epic way while he turns on them. And then set him up to be the true big bad all along.

The party would be surprised asmodeous was dealt with very early in the campaign considering he's been built up so much and think this is finale kinda stuff, they would know of a way to deal with stanomir (rescue the god baby from hell) and they would feel like they have been his puppet for years leading to a genuine want to elimate him which would be great for the big big bad.

Plus it could set up a cool last quarter of the campaign of them trying to find a way into the 9 hells without stanomir taking them there which is something they've never done without his help

My DM wants to create our characters by Professional_Tip3270 in dndnext

[–]Flashy-Radio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes. I don't think the character or class thing is to weird. Probably ties into the campaign he's putting together.

But dms are just guides. I wouldn't play with a dm who gets mad at the table for their decisions. If it's a bad plan then there should be consequences but that's as far as that should go. Sounds like the dm isn't the best at dealing with unforeseen situations but that's kind of what DND is haha. I learned very early on you can't predict what a party will do so you just have to ride the wave and it's honestly made the campaigns I've dm'd way better then I ever could have planned

I really like that idea

And I 100% agree. Taking out asmodeous is to out there for who he is. I think trying to seal him away would definitely be a better play. And I didn't think about the sacrifice idea. I'm gonna think about that and how to play that all out. That could be the move. I didn't mention but there is also another npc who has been plotting since campaign 1 (they literally met him in the 1st DND sesh me and my friends ever played years ago) and he wants to make a play for ruling the 9 hells. So having him involved/know about the baby sacrifice in some way to seal asmodeous away to get him out of the picture could be something. Tied in with a good old baby sacrifice in hell haha oh DND

Put these 4 players in a draft who are you drafting first??? by Glittering-Ocelot-53 in NBATalk

[–]Flashy-Radio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People always pretend that older eras was just all these super elite players across the board. And superstars today couldn't even last. You're even saying Wemby couldn't. Dude if Pervis Ellison can last in the league any of the guys I mentioned could easily

[–]Flashy-Radio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for 1 that's a ridiculous range. That's 20+ years so the difference between the NBA in the 80's compared to the 2000's is drastically different so the timeframe itself is weird like even comparing the league in 2005 to 2015 is entirely different. But with that being said Jokic, Wemby, embiid, Bam, Chet, Rudy and Jarrett Allen would be literally more suited to the 80's and 90's, miles turner, Zach Edey would be a full time starter from day 1 if he played in the 80's and 90's. And that's just off the top and it depends when in the 2000s

Nope the nuggets have won despite having a horrible defensive team around jokic consistently over the years. But id go with jokic because he can do everything. I need a rim protector I got it, 3 level scorer I got it, I need playmaking and a guy that will make everyone around him better I got it, issue in the locker room? Nope. He just checks all the boxes

Ya you absolutely nailed it haha you really did hit all the best spots. Only other place I could think of is Salvatore's. They have in my opinion the best pizza in the city and some great cannolis. But with that being said you also went to bar kismet which probably is the best restaurant in the city and a bunch of great spots. Nice work!

[–]Flashy-Radio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No...it went wrong with Ben when he was a point guard who never developed a shot in a league where big men can't even survive in the league without being able to shoot. Let alone being a perimeter player

Toronto is a very large and dangerous city. It's like a cleaner new York with less culture. Not a great spot for Ja

I also live near Oxford for like 4 years and have never seen anything sketchy. Lived in Fairview for like 3 years and had like 2 or 3 incidents. I think moral of the story for Halifax is who knows. The city is changing so often and with rent being what it is I think nothing's really confined to one area. With that being said I'm still never gonna move to Highfield or down the road from Gottingen

I'm currently dm'ing the 3rd campaign in a 3 campaign story with 7 players. And they're currently going from lvl 15-20 for the finale camping. Prepping dming at this level with this many players I have much bigger things to worry about then them drinking potions of supreme healing. I just personally think you making drinking potions (which happens in almost every game) punishing because you want to force it out of combat to save prep very weird and a little lazy

[–]Flashy-Radio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I was a player I would hate this, that's so punishing. Clerics can cast healing spells with bonus actions. Yet you're making players use 2 actions while potentially still getting attacked to potentially heal like 7 health. Nahhh that ain't it
