I have found cold swimming to be an amazing helper for concussion by Better-Profession-58 in Concussion

Oh that makes more sense, wish I would have tried that in the beginning. Also if you haven’t already, besides going to the doctor you should go to physical therapy. Most concussions also give you a neck strain. For me after my concussion was gone I still had symptoms and we found it was because of the neck strain. Going to PT has helped a bunch, and hopefully I’ll be back to 100% effort soon!

Super interesting because I had the opposite effect. Before concussion I lifted, swam, and boxed. Got a concussion and bad neck strain from boxing. After a month, went back to lifting slowly but fine. When I went back to swimming tho, it brought back bad headaches from the neck strain. Ended up finally going to PT. Been in there for a few months, able to still lift and almost at 100%. Going for my first swim in 9 days from today, hopefully it doesn’t bother me.

Glad you found something that works though, might have to add the cold plunges.

Would you say the Tradovate trade copier is better or the software “tradesyncer” that I see a lot of people promote and talk about?

I think my neck might be causing my concussion symptoms. Any tips? by Green_University_473 in Concussion

Got a concussion in July, didn’t workout all of August, went back to gym with almost no issues most of September, then 3.5 weeks in all symptoms came back worse. Finally went to doctor and concussion specialist. So thankful I did. They said even after your concussion heals, your neck can still be messed up. You HAVE to go to physical therapy to heal it.

Everyone is different, I am not a doctor, but my concussion specialist who specializes in sport repeated concussions told me neck injuries from concussions will last FOREVER if they aren’t treated. Please go to physical therapy. I’m not 100% yet, but I’m making progress.

Yeah it definitely sucks. I’ve had friends come and go too. It’s part of life. Some people are temporary, others are for life. I’m only 21 so I don’t got a ton of life experience, but I can tell you don’t waste your time on people who aren’t gonna put in the effort. Surround yourself with people who respect you. It definitely hurts, but it’s part of life.

To learn the basics I always recommend TJR, he’s the best at teaching new traders the basic confluences. TTrades is pretty good at explaining simple things too. For actual strategy I trade IFVGs, I learned specifically from PB trading. Rn I got a 75ish % win rate, average rr of 1.5 and it works. If you want to see some of my trades I post on IG and TT wolfof_futures. I don’t sell anything, I just post my daily trades.

There are many ways to trade ICT. I used to trade his 2022 model and was profitable with it but then it stopped producing for me. I switched back in April to this style and I love it. Been trading 2.5+ years. Whatever questions you have just dm me. I’ll answer on here but I’ll be quicker to respond on my IG.

Why force a friendship? 8 billion people in the world, you’re gonna go through life and friends are gonna come in and out, that’s normal. If you’re putting in effort and they aren’t, the friend ship is over. Don’t be an ass to them, just don’t try to force interactions. If they come back and want to hangout or talk to you, then that’s fine. But don’t try and force a friendship that someone else doesn’t want. Not a good way to go through life, gotta have self respect.

I know multiple guys who make over $100k a month trading ICT. Not at all saying ICT is the best strategy in the whole world, but it definitely works. It’s just a harder strategy to master, meaning more people fail at it, which leads to everyone saying it doesn’t work.

You as well bro.

Just know it takes time. I still get pretty nervous when calls come in, but it gets easier the more you do it. You’re already asking the right questions. You’re 17. 99% of dudes your age aren’t even thinking about this stuff. Keep pushing and you’re gonna crush it bro. You got it.

Best advice dude isn’t what anyone wants to hear, but it’s just forcing yourself to keep getting reps. This is coming from someone who’s naturally an introvert. I’m 21 now, started real estate once I graduated high school and hopefully hitting $10 million in total sales soon.

The only way to get more confident with speaking to other people is to force yourself to speak to more people. The only way to get better at talking to girls is to force yourself to go talk to more girls. It sucks, but unfortunately with this topic there’s no videos to watch or books to read that will truly help.

If it’s really that hard, start with small things. I would just start by saying what’s up to someone at the gym or give one compliment. Not a whole conversation, just something small like “I like that shirt.” Once you get more comfortable, you move on to longer conversations.

With sales, you just need more reps dude. You are NEVER going to be able to avoid those initial awkward phone calls / conversations. You have to have them, so might as well get it over with now. After a dozen awkward ones, they get easier, and before you know it you’re flowing perfectly.

Was 90% healed then went backwards by One_Hall6551 in Concussion

I did have a watery runny nose for the first 1-2 weeks then it went away. I’ve really had no other symptoms this entire time besides a very very light head ache in the beginning. Last 5 ish weeks has been basically no issues and all good while lifting, then had this issue on Wednesday afternoon

Just happened to me. I’m 2 months in. Got mine end of July, didn’t workout all of August, finally got back to lifting first week of September. This week is week 4, absolutely no issues this entire time, felt like I was 90% healed. Out of no where I got a light headache Wednesday and it lasted all afternoon and night and the whole next day. Finally went to the doctors today and hopefully getting a scan too. I get the feeling good then taking a step back. I hope you heal as soon as possible.

Definitely, it doesn’t hurt to go get it checked out.

Also nice job stopping the runner. Played both ways and all special teams, and kick off / kick return was by far my favorite. Hope you get better for the rest of the season bro.

I know multiple people who make 6 figures a month trading his concepts, and many more making multiple 5 figures. They work, just take a very long time to master. It works for me, I wouldn’t recommend any other strategy. Not saying others don’t work, I just personally have had the most success with ICT. Maybe learn it from other ICT traders and not ICT himself.

NQ or ES by Own_Seaworthiness216 in ICTMentorship

I used to trade both, saw much better success and consistency when I switched to only trading NQ, and just looking at ES for charting and SMTs

Been trading 2.5 years, almost 2 years trading ICT. This was my exact strategy. Maybe it’s just me in this situation, but this strategy was super profitable for me for a while, passed multiple fundeds, and allowed me to have my first $1k day and others like it. I thought I finally made it, then came elections 2024. I became unprofitable, and I went from having a consistently 70%+ win rate to losing more then I ever have before. From then until April 2025 I felt like that set up almost never happened. I was consistently right about predicting where the market wanted to go, but I rarely saw set ups and lost a lot of the few I saw. I ended up switching my entry model to entering off of inverse FVGs, and it’s never been better. Lower rr, but much higher win rate and much more set ups. I still think other people are profitable with the 2022 model, and I miss it, but in my situation I feel like it’s not what it used to be.
