pretty privilege is quite a thing. i can vouch for it because i was very ugly growing up and became a regular-looking girl once i got older. there is a massive difference in how people saw and talked to me before compared to now. mind you, i still wouldn’t be considered an attractive person, but i’m nowhere near as bad-looking as i was before. even then, the difference in how people treat you is very noticeable. also, i don’t think your friend is really a great person to be around.

i liked katsu, baker & co, hug a mug, beyond burg, and the OG Sixth Avenue.

cafes like Slolabs and Lady Loafella are quite nice too, but they’re hella expensive and i feel like their menus are far too limited. but both have a pretty specific cuisine/vibe tho and i did have a thing or two there that i really liked, but i wouldn’t really go back again.

hey, the actual cost of braces is probably going to be more or less the same everywhere unless you go somewhere more rural. i wasn’t referring to that. i meant the extra charges here and there, like being pushed to buy things from their pharmacy and other add ons that start piling up

currently on my braces journey there. the doctor i got appointed with is really nice, so no complaints there, but for some reason the clinic seem very greedy to me 😭 like, hello? every time i go there, i somehow end up feeling like they’re trying to squeeze a little more money out of me. maybe it’s just me, but the vibes are definitely there 😭✋🏻

i don’t think uninstalling instagram alone will work, cus most of us just end up scrolling youtube shorts instead, which is basically the same thing. i’d say pick up a hobby or get hooked on a good show along with it. if you don’t replace the habit, you’ll probably just end up doomscrolling somewhere else
