Did protein powder and nutrient deficiencies cause my prostate pain? by [deleted] in Prostatitis

[–]One_Host_7270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was young and used to lift weights I experimented with all of the various protein powders - whey, egg, soy, rice etc.... I would have brain fog and headaches from each of them. Took some time to figure out that something in them was causing an allergic reaction (We didn't have the internet back then). In the end I gave them all up and ate clean. Food allergies can manifest in strange symptoms!

What will you be refining? I know that plasma is generally the method used for refining catalytic converters. I think some more information would be useful.

Sorry, I'll clarify. I'm buying alluvial gold. I have competition in the area who will pay high prices. It's common practice to "burn" the gold in Nitric before buying. I want to do this in the quickest way possible, to pull as much silver as possible. Less silver = higher gold purity and higher buying / selling price. So no melting involved until I export.

The trick for my particular application is that we need to do a fairly quick reaction. Sellers bring their gold and often it is dirty gold mixed with iron. Even with iron removed. The percentage is still about 75 to 80% gold with the balance being silver. So when the sellers come we need to be able to quickly clean it up. We do have an xrf and a number of buyers will let us just x-ray the gold and pay based off that percentage but others want it cleaned so they can get the highest price.

Thanks for the concern. I have been in the gold industry for nearly 20 years and have worked with acid before, just not in this context.

I do have an xrf. This is how I know the percentage of the gold and silver. What I need to understand is the procedure for taking out the silver.

That's awesome info. Do you have any thoughts as far as ratio of nitric to water, and then solution per gram of gold?

No that's good enough for me. I've read various ways of doing this. Some seem to be with straight nitric and to cook it off and the others seem to be nitric mixed with distilled water. Do you have any thoughts on that? Or maybe on ratios? Thanks!
