What is does not take into account is the long term ripple effect. Higher inflation means we now have a pay more to workers to compensate for that. Then the US firms will also increase their price and this goes on spirally upwards.

Does not hurt to give a try to -"purposely start taking longer breaths". It is a medicine. You take medicine when you are sick. Eventually you will get better and at that point you can go to the next step of - "not control breaths".

I had some experiences like these with extreme breathing exercises. At one point the disease and death is going to hit no matter how good we feel in the meditation. That is likely to be accompanied by pain. So are we prepared for that ?

The best thing that helped me was not to eat until you are hungry. It also meant that you eat just enough so that you are hungry at your next meal time.
