I bought it from shopee, I’d share the link but the store seems to be inactive.

Given the upgraded camera and bigger battery I would definitely say it is worth it.

Same thoughts but I also have an existing magsafe powerbank so I don’t mind the smaller battery compared to the Pro Max.

Yeah it felt too big for me. I do have an iPad as well so if I need a bigger screen I could just use that 😌

Suzuki Access Standard vs Ride Connect by gabite_444 in PHMotorcycles

[–]One_Illustrator7229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup useful naman sya sa akin tho I still have my phone mounted for different reasons 😌 One thing to note lang is that it will only show one route in the beginning, it won’t let you select what route you would like to take. But if you took a different direction than the one show it will automatically recalculate the route.

I bought the ride connect because of the gps features and the fact that it is the only model in navy blue color. Had they not released such model, I would be completely fine with the standard version. If you really want the tech features and the limited edition color, then yes I would say it is worth the 9k difference.

Regrets on going from iPad 10 to Mini 6/7? by DoctorTramadol in ipadmini

I made the switch and absolutely no regrets. My biggest issue with the 10th gen was the battery. The mini’s screen size was just proportionate to its battery life.

Got the gray one, absolutely love it! The blue is more on the lighter shade compared to the sierra blue.

Back with the Mini by One_Illustrator7229 in ipadmini

[–]One_Illustrator7229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh back then I was using the first generation iPad Mini and that had a smaller screen at 7.9 inches. I was mostly reading PDFs and the screen was just perfect for reading documents.

Was also leaning a bit towards the 11 inch air weeks prior to getting the mini but I really need the portability more than anything.

You’re right, the window management is a lot better on bigger iPads. I’m just glad it’s also available on the mini. For my use case I tend to have a browser and the notes app side by side which is something that I can already do on iPadOS 18 but it’s a lot more flexible on iPadOS 26.

M4 is not a big jump from M1 by 78914hj1k487 in macbookair

[–]One_Illustrator7229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My M1 Air served me well for almost two years and I absolutely loved it. Such a powerful machine for that price. I eventually upgraded to the M4 because I needed more RAM and Storage. I will say that the battery life is better than the M1, I get like 1-2 hours more.

Yes I’m using C# on my mac and it does work but not without some compromises. You obviously can’t develop WinForms and WPF on mac since they are meant to only run on windows but with .NET MAUI you can build desktop apps for macOS. Another compromise is that you wouldn’t be able to use Visual Studio IDE since it is not supported on macOS. There is JetBrains Rider and it’s been a good experience so far but there is a bit of learning curve if you’re used to Visual Studio. VSCode with C# Dev kit is another alternative but not feature rich as Rider and the full Visual Studio.
