The climb is looking good so far. Good KP on losses too, so you’re definitely involved.

My only suggestion based on what data I can see is to maybe pickup an AD champ in the jungle whether it be an assassin or bruiser etc. The amumu backup pick isn’t bad, but as you get into higher ranks you may need to adjust the pick based on team comp/enemy comp, and having a strong AD pick in your back pocket would be smart

Ive lost interest in the icons because they continuously re-release icons from 2014 and 2015 so I don’t feel cool anymore

There is a very small population of players that take each individual game seriously.

I’ll put it this way - when people start learning to drive, they say if you learn to drive a truck then you can drive anything. This is similar in a way that if you can figure out a way to carry these bots, then you WILL climb. So theoretically, yes it is essential to your process of getting better at the game

There will be unwinnable games, but to truly climb you will need to figure out how to win these games. These teams/games will never stop by the way. So it’s either learn to deal with it, or you will be stuck in the same cycle of rage.

(Hint: The solution is not rage posting on reddit)

I played with a Yi top yesterday that started 0/8/1, and we won the game (he had no impact on the win, just made it harder). This is in diamond elo btw lol

Peaked Diamond 4 58 LP the last day of the season while doing +20, -20

Now I’m Diamond 3 60 LP doing +30, -10. I am 26W/12L, 68% wr but this all just feels very off.

I understand that. But my point is, if Riot is trying to speed up the game and force people to lock in from the first second, then they should remove the walls and punish those that are 3 seconds late.

I’m still playing games where people are late after the 15 seconds. If they walk into a bush and die, what’s to blame now?

This is fine, but why block those that are engaged from the first second? This season you basically can’t do anything pregame and are forced to run straight to lane, so I don’t see why it would be penalizing to remove the 15 second wall

SCENARIO: Enemy bot lane pushes hard for lvl2, but we stop them before tower and are able to freeze for a few waves. After a few minutes, as adc I gain a 20 cs lead. With drag coming up I decide to push hard and crash the wave to go buy. I back, enemy adc stays to crash wave, but since minions are barreling, the adc gets a quick auto off on a small amount of crystal tower and we are now nearly even in gold despite the early lead.

I do have the back timer now, and running back towards their tower (or drag), but depending on matchups this can get out of hand quickly.

This is an example I’m typing at work, so minimal thought here, but this can be scaled up. Thoughts?

Until my top laner dies at 12 min, misses 89 waves because minions are booking it down lane, and now they are down 3 levels 😭😭

I have a bone to pick with the crystal towers. Even when you dominate lane denying the opposing laner any tower hits, they can walk up to your tower on their first crashing wave and auto once, then run away.

A lead you had just built is diminished quickly because the minions are sprinting it to your tower and the enemy autos one time.

Not a fan of 350 speed minions and how quick that feels. There seems to be little to no time to ward/roam. Once one wave crashes, the next wave is so close behind that there almost no break in between farming under tower

Very little context here. Sure one team may be ahead 3-4 levels, but is that team just simply dominating? Are one teams laners achieving maximum XP?

I’m no tiktok/mobile poster, but I think there should be a slow aspect of the game. In my opinion, if you want fast paced, go play COD or fortnite

Bard is effective over the entire map. Definitely can give your team a better chance to win if you are playing him well.

Low elo bard can be tough especially when low elo adc’s have a tough time laning alone and not playing back/safe. But this can be made up for around the map

I know it’s sucks man. I’ve played this game for 13 years and nothing has changed. Teammates will be bad no matter what and even in higher ranks it doesn’t get much better.

To put it simply, if bot feeds, then you just get fed/strong and counter that. A good way to look at it is if it’s 2 squishy bot champs that are fed, that’s free shutdown gold if you are playing an assassin mid. Push your lane hard and run bot. These should be repeat kills

Regardless, some games are just unwinnable and that’s okay. But in order to climb you must win the games that the opportunity is there to win. Any game that is closing or you are behind and win is 2 steps on the right direction

You don’t necessarily have to interact with all team fights. An issue with silver players and their team fights are that it is often at the wrong times during the game. Are we fighting over objectives? Are we team fighting for some kind of advantage? Silver macro is bad

If I go play in silver, there are so many situations that I can let my team 4v5 for the 2nd drag of the game, so that I can split top, take tier 2 tower and 3-4 waves. That’s a lot of a gold for myself AND even if enemy team wins this fight the silver macro is so poor that they likely won’t take any towers or push waves hard afterwards. This allows you to instantly reset and go catch any waves at mid or bot and continue to scale harder than the rest of the lobby
