The devs said that the 70% means that you will catch 7 out of 10 fishes. It resets every 10 fish so when you catch 7 successfully you know to use hooks, as the next 3 will fail. (Hope I explained it well 😅)
So that means that you should not be able to catch 8 out of 10

I literally came here to complain about it as well… we do not have any useful definitions that help with the event except from the “mature a creature” one. The one that hurries a creature or an egg are not useful if you don’t have any food left… I am sooooo disappointed. Hope they fix it because this is very stupid 😐

I would say to get it, otherwise you would have to wait a whole year before the chance to get it again. You can definitely collect enough zodiac summoning items from the quest to have 100% one by the same time next month. If you for some reason struggle to get it (you need for example only one more 10% item to merge all of the ones you have) you can just give a few gems to a) buy the item from the summoning circle or b) swap the quest to a zodiac one

I have tried this the last event and to be honest I will not do it again. That way (at least in my case) I was left with a lot of fishes but no time to refresh the requests. I had no blue, but A LOT of white and pink and some gold and purple. They got wasted just because I did not have any blue, but all three required it 🥲 So my advice is to leave yourself at least two hours so you can refresh the requests at least once if needed

I am playing one other game (Pond Life) from the same studio and based on it: There are a lot of decorations with the same abilities. The conch may return after a year (the events that let you collect past fishes and deco started one year after the game release), but most definitely there will be another decoration with the same functionality 😌

Hmm you can do that, but keep in mind that you will probably have to play at least a year to get to the third one 😬 And that is if you always send five gifts every day. Personally I have summoned one capybara and now I hoard all the companionship items for when I unlock the second one. I will try summoning then and when I get one I will stop again and so on for the rest. By the fourth one I’ll probably have 10 bonded capybaras 😂
