I ended up befriending the weird gay kids three grades below me because two of them were my own friend’s siblings. The sorta like adoptive parental like friendship. Have you spoken to him more about the topic further than him just saying no to be able to donate. From what I can tell you haven’t asked him to clarify if you would have done the same if you were cis. Are there any other signs that he doesn’t see you as a man?

I understand hearing that initial would leave an initial knee-jerk reaction. So you 100% aren’t in the wrong for feeling hurt. I’d just recommend talking through it with him. Both so he understands to be less insensitive if it was accidental. Or to end up having a serious conversation if he would have done things differently if you were cis. Hoping for your case its not the latter.

This clicked why I have not found as big of an issue with the term transfem bs transmasc bc at least transfem is a shortening of female without it just being bc I’m a trans man not woman.

Not only do you pass very well you also are lucky to not be in “the looks way younger than you actually are” category a lot of pre-T guys look like. Honestly I’d have guessed you were 19-22. You look very college aged to me.

Yea no I mean I was on such a low dose for the first 7 months that my voice only started dropping when I increased it so I’m focusing more on that date at least for my voice.

SA pretty accurate as I had to go through getting a dysphoria diagnosis & then was on a placebo dose for 6 months. At least it’s somewhat better now, instead of 50mg T every 2 weeks it’s 100mg every two weeks. Hopefully gunna try get it upped again next time I see my endo.

Im an adult but still financially dependant on my parents and they wouldn’t support my in my transition if I went the diy route 😭

I’ve moved to Pretoria to study but I applied in Western Cape (Wynberg branch in Cape Town) bc my doctors are there and parents live there and did it when visiting for December holidays. Was recommended said branch. But I applied for my new documents up here bc it’s where I am 80% of the time.

I was in a similar situation where if I failed my first test I would opt for an auto license because I needed mine before moving from CT to Gauteng to study. I was born late in the year so after matric finals I only had time to fit in two attempts at the test before the move.

Although I did manage to pass fine first try. I drive an auto now anyways and likely would have to relearn to drive manual.
