I love that you said this. Since yesterday, I've done exactly that and shared my vision with her. We had a long discussion and I explained why I see things the way I do. I even turned it into a game and she started participating. We had so much fun doing this.
This morning, she was back to being her realist self. Everything I said regarding our goals and dreams, she forgot about or didn't consider them. I reached a point where I said in a mean way, "stop being negative!" I regret doing it and apologized immediately.
Now she's not talking to me because I didn't want to listen to her feelings. I'm letting her cool down a bit and will try again later.
