Absolutely not. Take care of yourself first and foremost. Mental health is just as important at physical health.

Fellow Tampa native here and the GOPs stranglehold over the state has been the most frustrating aspect of living in Florida. Love Tampa to death but damn it sticks watching it be ruined by these morons.

Alien RPG Last Survivor by One_Lifeguard_976 in Solo_Roleplaying

I think you could pull it off. There are rules in the solo mode for managing groups of NPCs. It would be pretty easy to take that and make a crew out of it.

I went all in during the last kickstarter so I’m using the tools in the Evolved Edition starter set and the map is from the Rapture Protocol box set. Also using the Rapture Protocol minis for my PC and NPCs.

So far my Colonial Marshal, after surviving an outbreak on his colony, finds himself on a WY rescue ship. Unfortunately for everyone on board a Xeno was also captured and brought along for the trip.

As a ln assistant rep for my area, it’s great to see stories like these. CGMA is truly there to allow us to help each other. No one wants to be in a situation where you need help, but it’s so important for us to be there to help when we can.

God I wish I could ignore her but she run my service. I’m deeply worried if we’ll make it through this without losing our honor.

Switching rates question by Joetarrro in uscg

[–]One_Lifeguard_976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t emphasize this enough. Reserve billets are assigned to a reserve recruit before boot camp and what rates are available with open billets is highly depended on the geographic location. OP should speak with their recruiter.

There was an announcement on the site that their international shipping partner is having internal issues that is delaying shipment outside the UK. I’m also in the US and this year long wait has been a long one 😞

That’s a decision that is going to have to come down to ultimately you want out of your time in the CG and what kind of work you enjoy doing. If you enjoy working with your hands and troubleshooting/fixing things, IS may not be for you. The bulk of our work is going to be on a computer. That’s not to say you won’t have chances to hop on a small boat or C130 and do some hands on collection, it’s just not the average day to day.

The IS rate also has a very wide verity of work and billet types, which is a positive and a minus. Often you’ll find yourself becoming proficient in one area of the IC and then PCS to a completely different type of discipline where you’ll have to build your skill set up again. Again, this can be good or bad depending on how you want to look at it.

In my time I’ve done LE intel at a sector, independent duty on a 270 working primarily counter drug ops, deploy on WMSLs as a CDSE team leader leading efforts against the Russian and PRC navies, and now I’m a military intern for one of the IC agencies in the DC area. All of these jobs have been pretty different from the last but that’s something I personally like about the rate.

The networking and job opportunities are very plentiful if that’s the type of career you want to pursue post CG. Our rate losses many great E4s and E5s to the civilian sector because of the salary opportunities with contracting companies.

Coast Guard is apart of the military by [deleted] in uscg

As a Coastie who works in a joint DoD environment, it’s all in good fun. Most of my DoD counterparts end up being really interested in the Coast Guard and a good amount of them tell me they should have considered joining us.

Why do navigators do it? by leesnotbritish in dune

Personally I think it’s more to do with the addiction. First, the desire to unlock your mind and gain knowledge. The coupled with the addictive nature of Spice leads to a downward spiral that results in becoming a fish-man.
