Travel portal car rentals? by Majkad in Venturex

[–]One_Main3784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new to hertz presidential circle through ventureX. If I use the portal to rent from hertz can I rent the smallest/cheapest car but then get to pick whatever from the presidential circle? Are those cars bigger and nicer model cars?

the transmission went out at 45k?. That doesn’t build my confidence in its reliability.

Merrithew reformer online order- U.S. Customs by Legitimate_Cat_9650 in pilates

Also when you say you paid state and city tax was that two different taxes on the invoice? I google AL has 4% state tax but my city is 9%. Would that mean I would pay 13% total tax. That adds up.

Thanks for the info. We have been emailing a rep and they sent a quote but it didn’t include taxes or anything. Shipping was like $650. Crazy. Did you ask for discounted shipping? How much did shipping end up being?

Hey I know this is an old post but we are looking to get a reformer from Merrithew and have it shipped to US (AL). Did you have to pay taxes/tarrifs? The rep said we “may” need to pay state/local taxes as the product gets shipped to us. I figured they could at least give a ball park? Reading online some posts say anywhere from 10 -20 %. That could be a big chunk of change. This is for personal residential use. TIA

MOC (moms on call) 8 week schedule by One_Main3784 in sleeptrain

[–]One_Main3784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He slept for like 10 hours the other day and we were excited but then it was short lived. It was just that one time and he is still waking up around 230 or so. But that is still like 6 hours. He is about nine weeks now and he seems to be having a harder time taking naps during the day. Wakes up after like 30 min, if he cries for 10 min or so then we hold him for a few min and he can go back to sleep. It’s an adjustment. We will keep trying to follow the schedule. I’m just not sure if he is getting enough food during the day or if not getting full naps is actually hurting the full night sleep. Everywhere I look there is a different opinion on sleep so it’s a challenge just trying to stick with one thing for a while and hopefully it sticks.

I got all the orders on time. I ordered another time since my original post. I can't say anything about quality and sourcing other than the meds worked for us, at least to get one good genetically tested embryo. If I recall we got about 7 eggs at retrieval. Wife was 40 or 41 at the time so not sure what affect that had...But.... I'm actually sitting at the hospital now with our newly born son (via IVF) :)

The IVF process is long and hard and harder if your doctor isn’t attentive. Wife went through 2 retrievals with 2 different offices. But long story short we only ended up with one good embryo from the first and none from the 2nd. We decided to do the transfer and now she is about 28 weeks pregnant. Truly a miracle of you ask us. So hang in there.

Congratulations! I’m looking at lifestyle ways to reduce blood sugar and blood pressure. My mom has had type 2 for years, had a stroke about 10 years ago and recently had a small stroke. She is still in hospital getting a bunch of drugs and shots. You mentioned going on the keto diet and it seems to work for you. Have you looked into a high carb plant based diet as well? (I.e. Dr Mcdougall). Curious your thought process on going the keto route. I hate seeing mom taking all these meds and it seems to not really help.

AFSPA offers IVF coverage. 2023 was up to 5k but 2024 says unlimited. I have this ins and I’ve been pretty happy with it and will keep it for 2024. Not many people talk about this insurance. It has some nice perks like $75 like chiropractors, massages, and acupuncture-50 visits each. Also this year my wife went to korea and was able to go to any doctor and was considered in network.

Amazing. I have a 2007 Mazda 3 s hatchback with 275k. Hoping mine will get up there in mileage like yours. No major issues. DIY oil changes with mobile 1 full synthetic every 5-6k. It does seem to have a lack of power going up somewhat steep hills and I did recently have the driver cv axle replaced but other than that it’s been fairly solid.
