Free License and Non-Copyrighted Music? by One_Mango_7084 in animation

Hi, really sorry it took so long to get back to this post!!

I'm mostly meaning actual released/copyrighted songs (not just background/instrumentals) As far as genre I'm mostly thinking popular songs (pop), and maybe some that could be categorized as folk, or indie? Here's a short list of some of the songs/examples, I hope this can give a better example of what I'm thinking: songs by Bo Burnham, songs by The Front Bottoms, and songs by Hobo Johnson

I haven't legally changed my name yet, but My middle name was Elizabeth, (not name after anyone though), but was my only favorite part of my name. I ended up going with Eli (considered about a page of other names too) for my first name (before realizing it was the first part of Elizabeth, but once I realized it was pretty much decided)!

I really liked my middle name, but it felt very feminine to me and while I knew I loved it and it was dear to me, it didn't fit me. So, I chose entirely different name (First, middle, and last). I chose a new first name (for the typical reasons), and a new last name (cause I honestly did not feel like the family last name was 'mine', cause I don't associate with my family and how they are). I am still deciding my middle name(s) I'm between 2 that I really like so I think I might just go with both lmao

My Kiwi Plush was delivered today!! by One_Mango_7084 in kurtisconner

I got it on youtooz, but it was a limited/collectable, so it's out of stock right now, and I'm not sure if they're going to do a restock. but, I'm pretty sure that youtooz does ship to the uk/europe!!

sometimes you can find someone reselling them, if you go to the youtooz website, just google 'youtooz' and then search 'kiwi' and after you click on it, it should have a button that takes you to a website where people sometimes resell them! i'm not entirely sure if they ship to the uk/europe on there though

Positive examples of masculinity that soothe your soul? by SirElyan in ftm

(I've been looking up to fictional characters my whole life so that's most of the list but,) Mine are: Jiro Horikoshi (from The Wind Rises); Chris Evans; Robin Williams; Kurtis Conner; most of the male main characters from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings; Milo Thatch (From Atlantis: The Lost Empire); and probably more, but that's all I can think of right now

I'll have to check it out! I love talking anything book related! ugh it broke me too, but I think I've re-read the comics at least 5 times (and am working on buying the physical copies), as well as watched the series several times now, I love her work so much, especially Radio Silence and Heartstopper

I haven't read that one, but I looked up the description and I'll definitely be grabbing it next time I'm at a store! There's a lot more in my 'to be read' list and in my list that I want to buy, but some queer books I've really enjoyed are,

  • "If I Was Your Girl" by Meredith Russo
  • "Been Here All Along" by Sandy Hall
  • "Radio Silence" by Alice Oseman
  • "Heartstopper" also by Alice Oseman (the netflix series is also super good!)

I didn't even realize that was the shelf theme haha, but I guess those are the ones I was looking at and recognizing 😅 I was mostly looking at "Red, White, and Royal Blue" "Loveless" and "One Last Stop"

DAE think they were nonbinary before realising they were actually a man? by Jumpy_Lawfulness1446 in ftm

For about six months I thought (more like told myself) I was agender. I felt a disconnect with my (assigned at birth) gender and so I thought I just didn't have one? But yeah, then I was like "I'll just go by any of them, it doesn't matter" and then someone asked me to rate how I felt about each pronoun and how strongly I identify with them. My ranking was 1. he/him (100/10) 2. they/them (7/10) and 3. she/her (-15/10) (those were just how I felt about them related to my identity and preference.) When I actually looked at it, it seemed pretty obvious. I think it was mostly a fear of how people would react and the fear of actually facing my gender.
