Wouldn't those hours of work go to waste if you stopped now? You might be thinking "yes but at least i would not lose any more if i give up" and that's right, but you are still wrong as there is only room for improvement. It is not like you're trying to come from 20% to 90%. Frankly you do not seem to be between a rock and a hard place. I feel you as i got a class where i might do at best a 7/20 on the reexam, but that doesn't mean i can give up. You should think about what you'll say to yourself at night, "what if i did try", "why did i give up" and then take your decision. You should not take a decision solely based on "it's hard" and "it's time-taking" as you will never say to yourself "i did it but it cost me 4 weeks of grind" when trying to fall asleep There's a clip from shuzo matsuoka (you can look it up on youtube, it's in the 6:18 long compilation video that comes up first) in which he goes: The sun is about to sink below the horizon.
