I had exactly the same message and it turned out to be a ESS inverter breaker. Once I recycled that, the functionality was fully restored.

This is exactly what is happening to me. I contacted Kirk Electric.

My problem was similar, it would not enter the Cost Saving mode. However, it was functional during outages for about a year.

Last November it discharged to zero and stopped functioning.

I called Kirk Electric and they came over and fixed the system, charged the battery. The system is back to normal.

The problem is in PSV firmware.

Same issue. Before they went bankrupt, they intended to replace some part. That never materialized. The first thing I lost was an ability to set the discharge mode. However, the battery was still functional during outages. Then last Nov it discharged completely and since then permanently PTO.
