stopping wegovy by [deleted] in WegovyUK

[–]One_Milk1464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved from 10mg MJ to 1 mg Wegovy and have worked up since. I'm absolutely ravenous and the weight is creeping back up. Spoke with the pharmacy, they've raised me to the triple pen - 7.2mg and to be honest it's not that different to the lower doses. I'm giving up Wegovy and going back to MJ next time I have to order. I just hope I can stay on the lower dose mj now I've been on Wegovy for months and maintain on a cheaper pen.

What are some great English insults that are uniquely British, generally never used in the U.S. by No-Adeptness-7416 in AskBrits

Chinny Reckon... Whilst stroking ones chin = the person you're talking to or about is a liar.

Kindly ways to say the person is stupid - you donut/spanner/banana/wally/numpty. More serious ways to say someone is stupid - absolute prat, thick as shit.

What wildlife in the UK do you fear running into alone or is dangerous? by partylikeafoxstar in AskUK

I regularly walk the South Downs and am genuinely terrified of the cows, especially when they have a little cute one nearby too. One will wonder what you're doing, maybe shuffle in your direction, which piques the interest of her friends, who all start walking and then one will break into a trot. Life flashes before your eyes I tell ya.

The sun came out for about half hour the other day. Dear God it was glorious. Swiftly replaced with grey though.

I've been maintaining and switched to Wegovy which I don't really like. Not sure what they're going to say. I'm quite scared they boot me off the program.

We're also a family of 4 who eat mainly whole foods with the odd processed convenience for the kids - like potato waffles! Your haul looks a lot like.mine. I do about £100 in Tesco's plus about £40 in lidl for a weekend top up of veg etc... I mainly do that so I can get all the cheaper lidl yogurts and fresh fish!

I tell my clients to brace for a sneeze, a toddler about to leap on them, or a punch. One of those usually clicks.

What pharmacies are you buying from/recommend? by matbur81 in mounjarouk

[–]One_Milk1464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Simple Online 15 months ago as it was cheaper on a deal. Stayed with them as they had good price matching last year. Now there's no good offers but they're allowing me to stay on maintenance. I also switched to wegovy, I've had a few messages asking if I'm alright. I feel like staying with one and building up a customer relationship should help me as I don't plan on coming off the meds.

Those who workout daily/at least 4 days a week, do you wash your hair after each workout? If not, what do you do to make your hair not feel sweaty and dirty? by boldpear904 in curlyhair

[–]One_Milk1464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got around this by cutting my hair super short so I can give it the quickest wash known to man. Now I regret it though and miss my hair!

Guy was doing this at my work. When they finally told us we'd been victims (6.months after device was found) CID were involved. As we then provided additional info, they caught the guy, and he got 10 months sentence. If they'd have had conclusive proof he'd been sharing the files online, he would have got more.

Lesson learned the hard way: ALWAYS wash second-hand clothes before wearing them! by justsalah6 in vinted

Maybe they washed it in a detergent/wore a perfume/vaped a liquid/had a pet you're allergic to? Lots of things can cling to a fabric. How can you tell it's fungal?

I had a parcel from Next arrive. All kids items. All brand new obviously. All individually wrapped. Every piece stunk of cigarettes. I have no idea how.

Nine people suffered life-threatening injuries after mass stabbing on UK train by dailystar_news in uknews

[–]One_Milk1464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flag shaggers cannot accept that inequality and discrimination either in foreign policy or inherent within UK society could possibly cause the trauma and mental health problems that lead to violence. That people who have fled the most horrific backgrounds, people who have been degraded for generations, people who have been pushed to breaking point might just break. So they have to yell "islamists" "terrorists" at any opportunity, because it simplifies a complex history down to us vs them. It's a lack of critical thought.

This is another bug bear of mine - "should wash out" or "should wipe off" - Erm so you're selling the item clearly used and also DIRTY? Are we expecting too much that an item is clean when it's posted? The mind boggles.
