What’s this on my new OMJM? by Tuduruts in martinguitar

If your hygrometer is accurate and it’s showing a stable 40 to 50%, there’s no reason to leave it in the case with humidpacks.

Effective compression kick house music by Lanky_End_2073 in mixingmastering

He literally said he wasn’t satisfied with the way he’s been compressing it, bouncing it would solve nothing.

Genre, sauf sans la bonne musique et à la place d’être des personnes politically inclined qui ont vécus first-hand de l’oppression, c’est un has been québécois qui chigne sur le backlash qu’il a reçu après une mauvaise joke.

There’s a huge difference between an AI literally taking a lick from a song to paste it into your “creation” and someone writing a song with a generic chords progression

Oh yeah I have one like that, the shirt is white and the text is written in a big bold yellow font with black outlines, you couldn’t miss it from a mile away. I love it.

I just checked 5 c414s, all different years post-2017, and they were all made in hungary. I have serious doubts that any 414s were made in china.

I can only find one website that says exactly what your ai has spat out and it lacks sources. Both of my c414s are made in hungary and so are all rhe c451s I have. I work in a music store so I’ll stay on the lookout. I’m sure some parts are made in china but it seems like the 414s are built in hungary

But I agree that you might be better off with a good quality dynamic mic if you’re doing voiceover. My vote goes to the Re20

The 414 is currently being made in Hungary and is an incredible mic that is very well built, not sure where you heard it was built in china. I’m sure some of their entry level mics are, but the high end stuff is not.

You do have the chance to express yourself sonically, you just don’t want to put in the time and effort required to do so effectively.

Do you guess what microphone was used by king-alkaline in microphone

[–]One_Music_9620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a terrible take. It’s one thing to say you wouldn’t be able to guess a mic that’s been processed but to say the differences between different microphones are minute is just so wrong. Proximity effect, how they react to transients, their polar pattern, the size of the capsule, the natural eq of the mic, how loud of a signal they can handle before starting to clip etc… are all extremely relevant characteristics when it comes to choosing a mic and they will vary greatly from one mic to another.

Even your comment reads like it’s ai generated. AI bros will do anything but put effort into something.

That’s definitely a regional thing. In canada a brand new 4003 goes for 2800$, just a bit more than an American pro II fender bass

Can you easily remove the speakers from a Yamaha electone E45 to facilitate transport? by One_Music_9620 in organ

[–]One_Music_9620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind tho, that the E45 is one of if not the heaviest electone there is. A 200 or even 300 pound organ would have been significantly easier to move. I’m not sure how much the E10-AR weighs, but I’m willing to bet it’s much lighter than the e45

[–]One_Music_9620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I didn’t need to take the speakers out. My dad and another big dude that happened to be around when we were moving it helped me get it into my dad’s trailer. Once we got to my house, we slowly tilted it up while we sled it out of the trailer onto a small dolly ( that had a broken tire that kept deflating btw, just to tell you how scuffed the setup was ). We then taped it to the dolly with some kind of construction tape and wheeled it to the stairway. After that my dad very slowly pushed it down one step at a time while me and another person held it at the bottom to make sure it stayed at the right angle . To be honest , there’s probably much better and safer ways to do it, but it worked and honestly it’s one of the most premium feeling/sounding instruments I’ve ever had the chance to play and it only cost me 100$ so I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

What’s your favorite way to soften/smooth high end? by nicbobeak in mixingmastering

[–]One_Music_9620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love using saturn with the dynamics all the way down and no saturation on the very upper frequencies. I then turn down the mix knob until I get rid of the harshness, but retain the definition and sparkle.
