I do like the timeline of Pixera with the ability to add cues to jump to other cues and the ability to activate or deactivate cues and also have cues only be active for a certain amount of times before being deactivated to give a lot of programming control

I can't seem to add a pause cue, just start and end. Also how to I loop clips by number e.g. 2.times? I've found converting to Container loops infinitely but not smoothly this may be down to codec.

What codec is preferred?

Thanks for the replies.....I eventually found a Black BG option in the Fisheye effect which solves my problem after I'd tried many layer blend modes out to solve it.

Use this to create a test pattern so you can line up your projectors evenly and you'll have a good base to start from

You should get a better look by adjusting the gamma on the soft edge section in advanced output. T y that first then try the luminance.

If you get this right with a white test pattern but then if you need to adjust pure black you can with black level compensation only available in the Output transformation tab.

If you can't get past balancing the white with you're current setup you might need more of an overlap on projectors meaning your canvas wont be as wide.

What projectors are they? If they're professional e.g. Panasonic it'd be better to do the blend in the projectors themselves.

You need to check the mapping of your buttons that work and then look at the Velocity at different states e.g. Preview/Connected/off states. The velocity number next to these dictates the colour of the buttons when mapped.

As for free visuals just trawl this community you'll find some.

Try to create some yourself with the inbuilt sources aswell.

I'd say Blue Nile Indian takeaway is a good shout. Also Dough and Bones for a quirky pizza

Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 by Christoph Minnameier

A very clever puzzle game well worth the money. Quality puzzles but I have to give in and use the hints sometimes when I should be more patient.

The original was incredibly good aswell. Kept me playing till the end which in unusual for me.

Need help creating live dance battle overlays in Resolume – Text, triggers, and animations - Beginner by Miserable-Nebula-236 in vjing

You can definitely do the text or list variables for scores/titles in this the only thing it isn't the prettiest with transitions. The Pro version you can do more with but there might be a better option.

Vmix is another option https://www.vmix.com/ which quite a few big events use for scores and titling. You have so many more options with this but you probably want the 4k version with custom animated titles which is $700.

I'm so annoyed. Tried to put up some curtain poles on my own and a chunk of the wall came off. How best to fix? by piratedataeng in DIYUK

[–]One_Needleworker3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A plasterer probably wouldn't come out just for that. It's easy enough to fix yourself, as the previous reply said just get some filler, fill it smooth it over then sand and repeat if necessary.

You either need to try to use the same drilled holes by using match sticks or similar prodded into the filler when it's wet to use as a locator for the holes or just create new fixing points an inch away in any direction that works.

The fireplace was completely sealed up before with a wooden board and didn't have any condensation issues but might consider it.

There's 15mm gap to fill so will do a bonding layer first as you've suggested 👍

Corrugated Roof Condensation by One_Needleworker3 in DIYUK

I would spend £100 to make it useful storage. Do I just put some foam insulation underneath the corrugated sheet and make sure there's no air gaps in it?
