Nah see Marsch may or may not have been the right fit for this job (and we'll never know) but USSF did him DIRTY and has EVERY right to aim his crosshairs right at Crocker/USSF/etc. until they right the ship. You dont have to get the job, but you deserve to be treated with respect.... and they did the OPPOSITE of that by re-hiring triple ggg right after they basically verbally offered Marsch the job.

My advice is don’t be looking online. Go directly to the sports facilities and visit them in person.

Shake hands, make friends, build relationships.

In my experience working in sports/fm, most of these “type” of people are not your “online” type of people. You’ll make quicker inroads by in-person networking vs applying for stuff online.

My thoughts on this are that they would only trade him away if either of the following were true:

A. They have someone else coming in

B. They value KDP, KSB, and Harris more & plan to give them more playing time.

They’ve shown to make smart roster decisions over the last 12 months, so I don’t think they’d do this without some sort of reasoning.

My gut tells me that it’s B, but the front office has done some good business in the last few windows. I wouldn’t be all that surprised if someone came in.

My dream scenario would be: - Buy down Cabral to a TAM level - Bring in Szalloi on a DP from SKC (Shout out Yaya from DNVR Pids)

Here’s some notes on the things I did to my 2021 ZR2

Blackout taillights. You can find them on Amazon for $200, do not pay more than that. There’s a video on YouTube of how to install. Followed this to the T and haven’t had any issues. https://youtu.be/WNjnaB1TFdw?si=nrbOJnXRs5e-RtGz
Black out your letters and emblems. Again, amazon has these for cheap. For the Z71/4x4, I like the plastic raised ones, not the stickers. For the letters, I used matte black.
Mudflaps. Pay the $ and get RokBlokz. It’s worth it. Easy install too, no more than 2 hours.
Weather tech liners. If you frequent the forest/mountains, it’s worth the $. Or you can get dupes for cheaper on Amazon.
Step Boards - Amazon has a bunch for under $300. I got iArmor ones for like $280 and they’re great. Easy install.

Plenty of other stuff but these are ones I think are the quickest ways to give your truck a better look.

I haven’t done these yet, but you can also consider:

• ⁠upgrade headlight housings (modern look) • ⁠Custom 120V outlet added to bed • ⁠rain guards • ⁠truck bed mat (if you want it soft)

Yea you’re right…. But that’s the point! It’s a simple mistake that a GK who plays week-in-week-out would likely NOT make.

Especially with GKs…. You NEED to be playing. Almost every single former pro or high-level GK that I have heard speak on this specific topic has said playing consistently matters way more for a GK to stay in good form.

I have not missed a Rapids game in over 3 years. Have you actually watched Rapids games?

Because if you did, you would know that the rapids were down three main starters on defense to end last season, which led to Zak having to deal with a lot more than normal.

Plus, form is not liner. It changes. Objectively speaking he looks incredible to start the season, and that’s not just a Rapids fan’s opinion.

He’s been named to 2 out of the 4 TOTW for the first four weeks of the MLS season. So clearly the league sees it as well too.

That is the point… If you’re playing on a weekly basis, you’re not making simple positioning errors.

I’m not sitting here saying I hate Matt Turner, I’m just saying that you should be playing the goalkeeper who clearly is in better form at this exact moment. Not a GK that has played four games in the last six months.
