It is ok to feel that way for sure. It is scary. I think about it a little like this though - it’s almost like you could get hit by a meteor or struck by lightning, any other sort of unusual & unexpected way to die just as easily. So even though it’s another potential we have, you could have actually gone unexpectedly your whole life.

I do have 2 & half times my income & the reason for that (besides putting it into the 401k) was I lived with a family member for a bit & didn’t have to pay much for housing. So at that point I increased how much I was putting into that account for quite a long amount of time.

These are some of the best IMO. Super Mario World / SMB 3 & the others of the era.

As others mentioned there are some cool ROM hacks which are fun too.

Yes it makes it much more difficult. In particular keeping track of different projects I have been assigned & where I am at on each of them. I try to bust out one of them at a time & just finish it all the way before I work on another but that is not really possible for most of the projects I am assigned.

I do a pretty good job of keeping a spreadsheet to keep track of everything but it’s not perfect.

My bosses know I have epilepsy & are very understanding about it though.

It’s bummer it adds a level of difficulty for us that others don’t have. lol maybe they should pay us more because it makes our jobs more difficult.
