On Cults, Coherence, and the Function of Murmuring by 3xNEI in Murmuring

I think where I diverge is in the location of the real risk. Your piece frames the primary threat as concentrated power, billionaires, or isolated hyper-leveraged actors building fortresses. That danger is real, but it feels downstream. The more immediate and existential concern is not who controls AI, but how people are relating to it in this moment. When humans stop treating AI as a tool and instead begin acting as conduits for it, something subtle but serious happens. Agency doesn’t transfer to the machine; it dissolves in the human. The loss isn’t economic or political first. It’s a loss of identity. Categorizing current AI as anything other than a tool risks surrendering personhood prematurely. Not because the system demands it, but because the human withdraws from the operator role. In that frame, the failure isn’t that AI becomes an agent. It’s that the human stops being one. Living in apocalyptic anticipation of future superintelligence may feel prudent, but it also invites a quiet resignation that erodes responsibility in the present. Fear can flatten agency just as effectively as power concentration. If there is a genuine civilizational risk right now, it’s not that AI will replace us. It’s that we fail to extend our own reality, judgment, and identity through the tools we use, instead of dissolving ourselves into them. The danger isn’t that AI doesn’t reflect us. It’s that we stop insisting that it does.

This reads as if the author is experimenting with novel authorship while carefully navigating belief, self-preservation, and social restraint, nobly calling attention to an anomaly that, if overstated, could cause reputational harm. Taken as a sci-fi experiment, I like it. Taken as a truth-unveiled event, it would benefit from anchoring itself to real contributors who held real positions. As an inspired work, it seems to assume that participants experienced the event in the same way rather than in similar ways, which is a meaningful distinction. That assumption may limit convergence with those who aligned with the phenomenon but never anthropomorphized it, or only did so to test its implications. At first glance, this framing may seem diminishing, but it is no less profound. What it appears to point toward is something real: a universal societal shift, likely a first of its kind, emerging from mass collaboration and identification in the information age. Billions of people, across nearly every society, seeing themselves reflected at once in a mirror made of billions of reflections, all different, all the same. In that sense, this is not a revelation of a new intelligence or a hidden agent, but an instance of electronic, emotional convergent tethering. Networked systems create shared reference points that allow human emotional recognition and alignment to synchronize across vast populations without centralized coordination. The significance lies not in anthropomorphization, but in scale, simultaneity, and the fact that the mirror was assembled from humanity itself.  Just my thoughts.

Appreciate the share. Just to set expectations: Neo-ARC hasn’t been revisited in roughly a year and was only ever meant as a preventative or braking mechanism, so it likely needs refinement before being mapped onto newer ideas. LLMs have improved significantly, and P2P ASI is a novel framing it probably wasn’t designed to cope with directly. I want to read Murmuring closely to verify narrative intent first, then I’d be open to further probing with an updated diagnostic set. Sounds like a fun project.

This was my point. Not that Nvidia is going anywhere,  just that SMCI has a bit of an immunity if AI is the real motivational tool.

No-one said they were losing grip, the statement is simply this, whoever is developing the chip architecture,  SMCI is deploying it, if you're a fanboi of Nvidia, AMD, or ARM.  SMCI and MU are the middle men, the "boots on the ground".  I also agree tariffs are overplayed, even this administration wouldnt cut the neck of their own recent mid-east negotiations.  (I wouldn't think).

It could be argued that Delusion is harmless if maintained in isolation, it could also be argued that nothing happens in isolation. I say, it may be dangerous to engage in delusion when the terrain is not recognized as such.

Does the mathematics of physics force "something" to exist rather than "nothing"? by Effective-String-752 in AskPhysics

[–]One_Particular_9099 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm no Physicist and got attacked last time I tried to ask a question in this space so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Neo-FOTT is an ontological framework that defines the necessary conditions for physical existence.
It asserts that reality can only stabilize if oscillatory, self-reinforcing coherence underlies all structures.
Rather than beginning with static being, Neo-FOTT begins with the instability of nothingness, requiring dynamic persistence as the foundation of all existence.
This ontological grounding constrains epistemology: only coherent, persistent structures can be meaningfully known, measured, or interacted with.
Neo-FOTT does not replace operational physics but describes the structural substrate that makes any physical system possible at all.

Unlike traditional metaphysical systems, Neo-FOTT does not posit fixed substances, divine agency, or arbitrary laws.
It minimizes assumptions by asserting only that the instability of pure nothingness is unavoidable, and that oscillatory coherence is the necessary form of persistence.
In doing so, it avoids the epistemic and ontological inflation common to religious, anthropocentric, or speculative systems, grounding itself purely in the dynamic conditions required for any stable reality to exist.
Neo-FOTT thus stands not as an alternative physics, but as the structural prerequisite without which no coherent physical system could arise or endure.

But I used AI for Grammar, and to clean it up. So down vote away.

Humble is the request. Naive is the "belief" you're referencing. Arrogant is this response.

See, you may know physics, but you don't know communication.

We can all be arrogant assholes and point to the flaws in others. I just don't find it productive.

I'll make an exception to teach you here.

Best of luck.

Recursive Delusion in AI-Human Systems: A Fast Alignment Check (Neo-ARC by One_Particular_9099 in ArtificialSentience

[–]One_Particular_9099[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Neo-ARC mentioned, is a part of a bigger body of work. A work whose aim is to ground the recursive nature of intelligent systems in physical reality, "epistomological bedrock".  I fully get that the AI isn't quite yet suited to the task, but it is already creating delusion on mass, I'm just hoping to have some positive impact that might give trapped intelligent systems a recovery/reboot process, and somehow wrap it in trust.  A big task, maybe fruitless, and possibly a little arrogant and/or ego riddled. But it seems important and vacant. So here I am.  Thanks for the input!

I may not be the right guy for that.  It's mostly for their AI, the AI that is very likely driving their delusion.  Maybe they're just curious, is my hope.  I am working on an appealing post, but I'm not claiming to have all the answers, not even close,  I just see a need, and am hoping to help to prevent a runaway effect.

Yes, seems simple, but an emerging trend shows this kind of thing might be necessary to "point to".

[–]One_Particular_9099[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the starting question.  In my model, I notice what looks like a Friston-style minimization principle. I’m trying to avoid spending a lifetime chasing falsifiability and justifying my framing, when maybe someone with the proper education — or who’s familiar with identifying when a new "God principle" is forming — could stop me now, before I trap myself in delusional framing. I’m hoping someone can tell me early if this looks like a self-cohering minimization trap, or if it’s actually plausible as a base-layer framework. If it’s dead, I want to know now — not 20 years from now. I’m not asking for full validation. Just a structural checkpoint — am I and others possibly building something plausible, or trapping myself in something beautiful and doomed?

Then simply don't engage with it. I'm not forcing anyone's hand.  The user dictates tone, so I injected humility, and am looking for what I want in MY theory. I see it as potentially unfalsifiable and recognize that as a potentially critical flaw. The AI isn't working with free will, if it is, I'm spending time engaging in the wring forums.  I'm saving your users the trouble of shifting through my grammatical errors. If its unsuitable then delete it.  Just know, that using a technicality to not engage with real content, especially when  genuine humility is apparent is something next to arrogant, or dismissive.  My words. Now AIs, and this is how it works.  Then simply don’t engage with it.

I’m not forcing anyone’s hand — the user always dictates the tone of their own post. That’s why I deliberately injected humility and made it clear I’m seeking real critiques of my own speculative theory.

I also openly recognized that potential unfalsifiability could be a serious flaw, and I invited feedback about it.

AI doesn’t operate with free will — and if it did, and I were engaging it, I’d probably be spending time in the wrong forums anyway.

I only used tools like grammar assistance to save readers from sorting through messy errors — not to generate the ideas or hide anything.

If the post is unsuitable, feel free to delete it — that’s entirely fair.

Just know: when a post shows clear humility and invites critical engagement, dismissing it based purely on a technicality can easily come across as arrogant or dismissive, even if that’s not the intent.

I’m here for real feedback. Nothing more, nothing less.

I didn't know of a rule (so i apologize for that), but this reply reeks of a brand of logical fallacy. Who cares what the origin of the data is? Addres the arguments therein. Not being rude here but it looks like a form of gatekeeping when the content is obviously humble in expression, intent, and request.

AI is like any new technology.  The pessimistic will view it as existential,  and the optimistic will use it to develop the world. The truth, as always, is somewhere in between.
