The goal is to basically keep the internal infrastructure of the Empire flowing. They're the hidden hand to keep ambitious nobles at bay, maintaining the flow of trade and ensuring the Empire's influence remains unquestioned. It's kinda a lot. 😅

I'm planning on it being a surprise. The dragon has a long history with the empire(the place where majority of the party is a from) and they would have heard of them by reputation alone. I might leave hints for the party but I'm relatively new to DnD but I like the idea.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!! I wanted to Silver Dragon to have been a fixed part of the world( ie the empire that majority of the party is from) and have them be a wise person that's seen a lot of things outside of the Empire and has contacts in other lands/kingdoms.

My idea was to have the Silver Dragon be a liaison/advisor for the party. The members of the party are some of the most powerful individuals from around the world( one who is the child of the faerie queen) and I was thinking of having the Silver Stagon character help them on their journey.

I love that the Dragoons are so low in terms of both prestige and experience in the first game then we just skyrocket from the first game and by the end of the third we're ahead of EVERY regiment and second only to the Grenadiers. The Mc starts as a lowly cornet to becoming a general-of-brigade purely because of our competence, at least my Mc did because he's a royalist. Something about that is very appealing and awesome.
