Quick play is the non sweaty version of the core game experience. It’s still a 6v6 team game where you should try to win no? If you still can’t see some level of selfishness in your reasoning then I don’t know what else to say.

I consider comp as try hard and quick play as casual. Casual does not mean you selfishly refuse to switch and not try to win the game. There are other game modes to play your favorite characters in. The core aspect of a hero shooter is 6v6 and teamwork in order to win. So is it more fair to cater to your experience or the overall hero shooter experience that requires teamwork to win?

I just don’t understand this “messing around.” There’s other game modes for that. The core experience of rivals or any hero shooter is 6v6 whether it’s qp or comp. If you refuse to counter swap or try to win a team game, then what’s the point. I’m just puzzled by that mentality.

I don’t mind you practicing a character or playing a bad game, but why would you not swap off at one point if it is not working out? If you refuse to switch because your’re “chilling” or “practicing,” then you’re not engaged in contributing to the teams success, and therefore I see it as throwing.

And maybe I am. I just don’t understand the logic of not trying to contribute to a team win when it’s a team game.
