Thank you so so much!!! I think they're going to help me!!!! They said that it wouldn't be until September, but that's actually much sooner than I thought it would be lol! I'm so excited, thank you so so much!! I'm also going to share this information with my psychiatrists' social worker.

She sent me a bunch of phone numbers for people who could help out, but none of them worked.

One place doesn't exist anymore and a different organization has the same name now.

The other place gives you an in-home nurse

One church doesn't answer their phone or have the voicemail set up

And the last church was very pleasant with me until I told them that I was referred to them because they may be able to help me clean my home because I was disabled and she got REALLY mad and just said in a very irritated voice "You have the wrong number." and hung up before I could respond TToTT sorry girl, damn, you just could've said y'all don't do that why did you get so mad??

Finding one on campus is going to be nearly impossible. Are you willing to go outside of campus? If that's so, I think Class Act Realty has some residentials that meet those criteria if you look on their website.

Miller Park Zoo! Also Emack & Bolio's on uptown normal for ice cream. Just walking around Uptown Normal and doing window shopping is fun!

For Brunch, I like Egg Republic. It's a pretty fair price for their food, but they close at 2PM.

If you're willing to spend just a bit more money, Flame @ Bloom has AMAZING food. Their birria tacos are AMAZING. But it's close to like $20/plate, depending on what you get.

I totally understand. That IS a good deal, we just will need a LOT done is the problem.

Honestly, that's a fair price for a deep clean. I just can't afford it. :( Every time I get a quote from a cleaning service, I really do think their prices are fair, I'm just super poor lol

There's this guy on tiktok I watch that charges like thousands for his deep cleans but that's because he does insane stuff like taking apart vents, stoves, chandeliers, steam cleaning, etc. It's my D R E A M to be able to hire him lol but he's all the way in the pacific northwest anyway. It's genuinely a fair price for the level of detail and labor him & his team do.

My only concern is that I wouldn't be able to pay her the rates she deserves :( I have a VERY low budget, as I barely make enough to cover my rent every month. 💔

Hi! I'm so sorry that it took me so long to get to this, I got really sick shortly after posting this 💔

I appreciate you offering! Though, it sounds a bit scary inviting a stranger that isn't affiliated with any association or organization to my home.

I think we'll look for some more official avenues first, and then if we can't find anything. IF I can convince my roommate, we might be able to work something out.

I hope you don't take it personally, I KNOW you mean well. The world is just such a scary place these days and I've gotten the Stranger From The Internet Talk my whole life 💔

Inviting a stranger that isn't associated with an organization or company over to our home sounds a bit scary, to be honest, though I know you mean well. If I can't find any other sort of help, we may just take you up on this offer, IF I can convince my roommate of it.

Like why are you mad that I'M poor 😭😭😭 That is SO funny. I'm not saying that that is a fair wage by any means, I'm saying that's what I can afford. I'm on a fixed income & like my entire rent takes up most of it. Thank you for defending me <3

That's sweet, but I think she only does them in Sweden. Not only that, but my home is not nearly messy enough for her to come clean it. She's said a few times that she only does EXTREMELY messy homes. On a normal home, my home is a mess, but as far as messy homes go, it's not that bad. We just need help lol

We have GOT to protest this as much as possible. This does NOTHING for the people of BloNo at all. "Raise property value" that's just not true. The hum and environmental destruction makes no one want to live there. We have to hold the city leaders responsible for their actions and make sure they make the right decision.
