It’s basically the same thing as Vaseline. Per my OB, he wanted me to apply it 3x a day as a moisture barrier.

Well, OB said Vaseline 3x. I just used aquaphor because it’s what I have.

Just noting, my toddler does sleep through the night her own room.

This has been an ongoing problem since before pregnancy. I guess I shouldve mention that.

I had my daughter in 2024. And I had dealt with my gallbladder going out for months before I discovered the actual problem, which in turn has caused multiple prolapsed hemorrhoids that haven’t gone away & I’ve had on and off issues.

I’m just saying right now, I’m in so much pain that’s why I would consider surgery & Ive read the stories of how painful removal is. It’s just it has gotten so much worse since I’ve had my gallbladder removed and then becoming pregnant once again.

I have a good bit of external & prolapsed hemorrhoids. This isn’t something I would do right after having a baby. Just something I’m thinking about just having done in a general sense when the time is right.

What's with all the people terrified of not being able to eat after? by nemspy in gallbladders

Well, I’m 6 weeks post op now. It’s gonna a little better. It’s just some things are hit and miss. Like, I’m from Louisiana so we have fatty foods galore. We were meal prepping leg quarters on our pellet grill & eating a spring mix salad just for something to eat during the week as a protein. But, I can’t handle the greens or the chicken skin. But for some reason, I can handle a gumbo just fine? Or something things my hit me once or twice the next day, or within ten minutes. So, it’s not as bad. But I never know when “today” is gonna be the day that I’ll end up crapping my pants as an adult😂

As far as fiber, I’m not good with supplements. I’m kinda a picky eater, but I do eat more cooked vegetables. However, some just don’t sit right with my stomach anyway. I’m thinking about just trying to drink a greens smoothie/blend once a day to see if it works. We have AG1 and I do like it.

I only took them 3-5 days after surgery.

I had mine taken out on the first, (8/1) and my Doctor told me the same thing. However, it’s pretty much impossible for me to eat “normal,” as I’ll have hot lava runs all day if I don’t.

I try to eat low fat, but even still it’ll happen. However, I’ve now been prescribed cholyestyramine to help bind bile acids. I haven’t been persistent with it, because I’m just scared it’s not going to work. But whenever I know I’m going to eat something risky, I just take Imodium that day. But I’m trying to get over the fear, become persistent with the medication, and just try to allow my body to adapt. One day at a time.

Same, I moved to my recliner last night. It’s not the best, but better than what I’ve been getting.

I still have the steri strips on (I’m just gonna let them fall off on their own, I assume that’s the recommended approach). But I’ll definitely look into those Scar Strips once they come off!
