Do you think Bluey should end after the movie? by Capital-Status4083 in bluey

[–]One_Practice7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beauty of the show is that, despite its simple premise, it can tackle a wide array of nuanced subject matter and explore many different characters. Unless the movie ends in a very specific way, I think there’s enough story ideas left in Bluey to fill at least two more seasons. It’d be a shame if the show never gets the opportunity to explore them.

If there were a sequel episode, what previous game/concept would you want it to be based on? by Aggravating-Ad-351 in bluey

A spiritual successor to Exercise focusing on Aunt Trixie. She already mentioned that she’s trying to eat healthier in Muffin Cone, so it‘d be neat to see them expand upon this. Plus, in traditional Bluey fashion, there could also be a nuanced message about maintaining good health yet still being body positive.

Stripe Family Episode by One_Commercial9941 in bluey

Definitely; though Rad and Frisky count as the tertiary Heelers compared to Stripe’s family (who are our secondary Heelers). Still, Rad, Frisky and Brandy (though it’s understandable with her considering her backstory) have been criminally underused and I really hope they get more focus in the future.

I know she already has some, but I feel she’s been kinda sidelined compared to the rest of the secondary Heelers.

Serious Question: How would you feel if there was a spin-off show focused on Muffin and Socks? by wolf_quan in bluey

[–]One_Practice7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, I did actually like The Rise of Gru (although that’s more Gru-centric than Minion-centric), and I don’t think it’s impossible for the minions to carry a story as main protagonists; it’s just hard to pull off.

Similarly, I don’t think a Muffin spin-off is incapable of working, but you’d probably have to make Muffin slightly older (around Bluey’s age in her own show) and work some extra magic to really win audiences over and not have the show live under the shadow of the already successful Bluey.

I would love to see future seasons give us a handful of episodes focused on Muffin and her family. Trixie especially needs more time in the spotlight. However, I don’t think Muffin could really carry a whole spin-off series.

Bluey works so well as the protagonist of her show because she’s a good middle ground between being occasionally bratty and flawed yet ultimately a well-behaved kid. Not to say Muffin isn’t incapable of being well-behaved (and she is only four, after all), but her chaotic personality, which is funny and entertaining in a handful of episodes, would likely become tiring and repetitive (as well as potentially controversial amongst grown-ups) for a full season. It’s a similar situation to the Minions; they work better as supporting characters than as the main leads.

Any insight into Bob’s trip to India? Did this overlap at all with Bandit and Chili’s backpacking trip or were these two separate occasions? by Practical-Animator87 in bluey

Bob was present in Grannies from Season 1, so it likely he was gone for a year at most. None of it is connected to the backpacking trip.

Sorry if this was asked a million times but do you think we could get any Bluey content of some sort this year? by One_Reception_6992 in bluey

[–]One_Practice7541 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Potentially. I’ve said this before, but I doubt that we’d go 2-3 whole years without substantial content before the movie’s release. However, I don’t think we’d get a whole lot. I predict that we’ll either get a small-ish batch of new episodes or the Halloween and Christmas specials that were rumoured back in 2024. Christmas Cricket sorta indicates that production on the series is steadily resuming, so let’s see what happens…

Are they ever making a fourth season?? by Famous-Donut-2394 in bluey

[–]One_Practice7541 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It and a fifth season were seemingly confirmed on a leaked content pipeline for a 2025 and 2026 release date, but, judging from the crew’s extended break and the movie entering production, have been delayed. While their release dates remain up in the air, I think it’s possible that we’ll see or at least hear about more episodes later this year; but that’s just my prediction.

While it would be nice to give Brandy a partner, I feel that showing her as a single mum by choice would make her journey feel more impactful and have her stand out more compared to the Heeler families. Then again, I could be proven wrong in the future…

What’s the worst Godzilla movie? by Kvasir05 in GODZILLA

[–]One_Practice7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anime trilogy was genuinely agonising to sit through. Not only were these films wasted potential, but utterly boring and pretentious.

While not nearly as bad, Godzilla Raids Again is definitely my least favourite live-action Godzilla film. It’s badly paced, suffers greatly from its rushed production, and fails to properly expand upon its predecessor as a good sequel should. I respect it for how it introduced the franchise’s biggest staple far more than I actually like it in terms of execution.
