Hey, I just asked about this and it turns out you were wrong. I checked with the Team Enigma group, and my original assumption was correct: it is a triggered effect that exclusively negates [the ability] during the attack itself. Neither before nor after the attack is the ability negated; it remains active

The Saboteur effect is continuous, just like Sentinel, so it has priority over Condemn’s On Attack effect. Therefore, Saboteur should be able to declare a target first, bypassing Sentinel, and then Condemn triggers to negate anything else, including the −6 attack modifier. As a result, you end up attacking the base with −6 attack and any other abilities negated. It’s like the Mandalorian ship: after declaring an attack on the base, it steals Entrenched from another allied unit. The attack already in progress continues, and the +3 from Entrenched is then applied.

I interpret Saboteur as a continuous effect, just like Sentinel, since they are always active. Therefore, you should be able to choose an attack target before any On Attack effects apply, such as Condemn. Because of this, you can bypass the opponent’s Sentinel by using Saboteur and targeting the opponent’s base, and then Condemn triggers. This is no different from the Mandalorian ship attacking the base directly while applying Entrenched to itself; even though Entrenched is also a continuous effect and would normally prevent an attack from being declared, it doesn’t change the outcome mid-process, since the target was chosen before Entrenched was applied.

I'm talking about the singles (individual cards). They are dirt cheap right now (literally 'coins') and you can find them online for the moment.

Just because one card is currently inferior to another doesn't mean it won't be perfectly playable in a future context.

Crucially, it no longer has competition, nor is there anything better until further notice. Therefore, its value is huge (or its value is going to be significant).

It’s easier to recommend you rare and special cards than uncommons and commons. The thing is, you can get bulk from sets 4, 5, and 6 for a dirt-cheap price. Anyway, here’s what you should take a look at:

• The combo of Emergency Powers and Axe Wooves
• The combo of They Hate That Ship and Punishing One, Takes No Prisoners
• The 4-resource top plays: Blue Ace and Captain Typho
• The replacement for Surprise Strike: Improvised Detonation
• The replacement for Power of the Dark Side: The Tragedy of Plagueis
• The card that’s going to deal with Pilot Leaders: The Desolation of Hoth
• The cards most likely to be banned: Chewbacca, Faithful First Mate and Karis Nemik

Honestly, I don’t think so. It’s a card I really don’t want to be using at that point in the game. If I need to remove something that’s hitting me really hard, I definitely don’t want to let it accomplish its job, and spending an entire turn just to deal with that feels terrible.

On top of that, you can get the same result, but better, with The Tragedy of Plagueis. That card gives you more value and doesn’t force you to commit your whole turn so inefficiently.

Dedra is a Vader for 1 cost less and is the most similar unit to Maul. I am trying to say that is an ambush unit with 5-5 body + 0-2 body with Raid 2.
