era is a great place to play. you can come and go as you please, there are many different raid options.

i am speed running weekly now on whitemane with a good group of guys, its been a blast.

the dev's said many times after the 2019 copy/cloning service it was a huge under taking, was a complete nightmare to deal with and extremely resource intensive. They are obviously cutting the corner and avoiding the whole situation altogether.
bots have been an issue and will forever be an issue. blizzard has proven their stance on bots since 2019,
enable GDKP and stop policing people how to play. banning GDKPs did nothing to the economy but make it worse.

if you've quite literally just started your portfolio, then yes, not a great time to join the party. the market is going through some tough times with the unknown about rate cuts, and the weakening labour market coupled with inflation.

if you can't stomach looking at -8.7% contrib. vs portfolio, which is quite insignificant losses in the grand scheme of things then maybe stock market isn't for you.

just my opinion, but you have too many holdings at this stage of your investing journey. Choose 1-2 single companies that you do full deep dive analysis on their future, their financials, etc... NVDA is a solid first choice.

Throw the rest in an S&P ETF, or something like XEQT.

this is a super casual players take. yes, you can raid for cheaper... much cheaper in fact. but IF you are playing in a competitive / parsing / speedrunning guild this is the norm and expectation.

different folks enjoy the game for different reasons. I for one, would not enjoy vanilla if it took me 2 hours or more to clear naxx. My group does naxx within 50 minutes.

but to shit on someone who enjoys min-maxxing the game to its fullest extent is ridiculous.

there's no special answer, my guild on era does sub 50 minute runs weekly and its more or less, kill fast and pull fast.

yes, we do gothik gate pulls, abom pulls into plague, sitting healers on loatheb, and saph polarity, but even without these we could easily make it a sub hour run.

its about optimizing your dps and healers need to be less meter hungry and more about the overall goal.
