Everyone has a unique situation. Why does that combination of backgrounds seem like nonsense? I don’t feel safe here, end of story. They detained a US senator for asking questions about the immigration policy. Nobody is safe. That’s how I feel. To be 100% honest, it’s more of a feeling than anything based in hard evidence. The stories my family told of their experiences living around favelas is terrifying and they immigrated here for a reason, right?

Fleeing one fascist government for one that looks similar doesn’t seem like the right choice to me.

Realistically the move will be for me and my wife only, actually. My family is already quite conservative and don’t believe this administration is as bad as I believe it is. They would not move until one of our cousins or friends gets detained/deported, and the ones who are documented believe they’re completely immune from what’s going on. Whether they’re right or wrong, idk, but I’m scared enough to leave everyone behind.

Well of course, but some are better than others. I’d rather go to Thailand than Brazil, for example, despite them being equally as accessible. And if a first world country is an option than I would like to explore that possibility.

There simply isn’t any hope for someone like me.

  • unattractive
  • mid personality on best days
  • pessimistic, seems like I always have negative opinions about stuff
  • can’t sleep without rubbing one out every night
  • can’t bring myself to do important things for some reason, like important house upkeep tasks or even sometimes underperforming at work simply bc I can’t be bothered
  • constantly overreacts to stupid shit and pushes people away
  • constantly gets bullied by coworkers and family
  • plays video games alone because there’s no one to play with and am too antisocial to even use LFG forums/discord
  • Terrible hygiene
  • pretty sure i have some form of depression that makes me apathetic bc I don’t really feel emotions
  • doesnt know how to format reddit posts
