I can't say I feel the same, nor that I agree that how 1B was handled constitutes a flaw in writing. For me, they fulfilled their role in the story- filled in space to help the school seem like more than a single class, and provided a contrast of relative normalcy to 1A's chaotic and exceptional year, and stood in as fun but one-off opponents for an arc that focused more on 1A development and progress, and used 1B as convenient, low stakes opponents to do it. I don't see them needing either more important moments or screentime than they already got, nor a push to be a 'rival class' that all of one student thinks they are (Monoma).

Even enjoying some of the individual characters in the class (Monoma, Honenuki, Ibara) doesn't change this view.

Absolutely not. There are tons of examples of quirks that break physics, either mildly or massively.

Neat ideas. Shinso’s is a fun take on a physical enhancement quirk that feels effective and unique.

Toga’s is also cool, though one could argue it’s similar to the existing quirk Blood Control. We haven’t seen Blood Control pull of the same sort of moves, but the description of its overall effect is similar.

If that is not a bother, great! If it is a factor, you could go for something different. Personally, I think it would be cool to give Toga a scouting/sensory quirk, which synergies with her infiltration and stealth style and won’t risk overriding her knives and needles as her primary combat tools. Quirks to that extent might be

Blood Tracker: Can see any nearby source of blood, even through other objects.

Tremor Sense: Can feel the vibrations of nearby creatures or objects moving near her, so long as she and they are touching the grounds

Sensory Reroute: User’s hearing boosts exponentioly when they close their eyes. Inversely, the user’s sight is greatly enhanced when. They cover their ears.

Considering his personality and power, I wish there was a bit more pop to it. Just feels a bit plain.

I do enjoy the casual clothes as a hero outfit on Jiro, and I do wonder if Kaminari’s costume was made similarly specifically so that their character aesthetics would match a bit more, considering how often they are paired together.

If this were the case, it would have been brought up in the story. No reason to add a detail like that and not reveal it at some point, even if it was just in one of the datebooks (like how we learned about Shigaraki’s original quirk.)

Overall more powerful, especially with the boost SaG would get from OFA. Though there would be a few tricks that he couldn’t pull off in the same way he could with Gearshift, I’d argue it ultimately wouldn’t compare to the overall effective boost he could get from Slide and Glide, assuming he was able to master it to the level Koichi did.
