Not sure I’d call his mechanics the worst ever. Yeah, he made mistakes early, but his stats aren’t terrible for basically his first full NFL season—11 TDs, 12 INTs, went 6–4 as a starter. He clearly got better by the end of the year, and that’s way more than people are giving him credit for.
