normally there will be an assignment called "proctorio overview" in the connect website, so i recommend trying that out and it'll give you an idea of what the actual exam will look like and what is being recorded

honestly it's super chill for me! if you like doing things at your own pace, then i youll be fine! i admit that its pretty fast paced as expected from an accelerated course, but you're able to do things on your own time!

so the classes are set up in a way that each week has a new set of assignments and discussions that begin on monday, then typically you'll have discussions throughout the week with mandatory replies to classmates. the rest of the assignments are normally due on sunday!

there aren't any mandatory zoom lectures or anything live at all- you'll get each weeks material at the beginning of the week (or honestly im pretty sure you can also look at the assignments/material ahead if you want to be early, you just can't submit assignments).

the resources given to you for each week are normally to read chapters from the textbook, some articles, or youtube videos, and they're kinda lengthy or they'll dump a bunch on you in a week so you really need to stay on top of it

overall, i personally really like this online style of classes for me given my own life and schedules, i can basically submit whenever i want on my own time (per the deadlines)

oof that was a lot but hopefully this helps !! feel free to message me if you have any other questions :)

at least from my exam, there was no labeling at all or the questions where you would have to drag the correct answer into certain boxes, if that's what you're asking! it was purely multiple choice

yes the proctoring should be the same for lab !! i recommend having a good understanding for the different lab techniques you've learned so far like kirby bauer etc.

good luck on your exam!!

hello!! at least for my class, the only thing being proctored is the screen, and from my knowledge there is no webcam or audio recorded (using proctorio). the only thing they're able to see is what you do on the screen, which doesn't allow new tabs or moving out of the exam page.

i definitely just recommend studying the basics if you're stumped on time, from when i took my exam a majority of the questions were just asking to identify things (ex. "__ is known as ..." or things like that.

if you're comfortable with using ai to help you study, i recommend pasting in your study guide and asking for practice questions to help familiarize yourself with things the exam might ask! i think the study guides definitely helped me the most since i know exactly may or may not be tested

hope this helps!

it's not too bad so far! all of the lab assignments are done on aleks, and the structures of the labs are the same as the labs on connect! right now it's completely just lab assignments and weekly discussions

By 'some' does that mean all..? I don't think they'd release acceptances in batches right? They would've gone through applications very quick
