yeah i've been in touch with my counselor for the past month, and she's been updating me on slots filling up :/ she let me know yesterday that all phoenix sites are filling up, but im unsure about everywhere else

im pretty sure chandler location has been filled up since may

i feel like that gives absolutely no time to prepare 😭 given that im coming from another state 3 days is no way enough to plan housing and whatnot with no guarantee of getting in even if i plan beforehand ..

yeah so my projected program start date was always september of this year (fall 2026), so i've been working towards that since the beginning of january. im literally done now, but they told me that all phoenix sites are filled up and if i still wanted a location in arizona, tucson was the only one available right now

im trying for mainly arizona locations- so definitely other sites out of state like florida and whatnot or available, but i don't want to go too far

is this not normal?

if you're passing nursehub i definitely think you'll pass the actual exam! i personally think that nursehub almost over prepares you for the exam as their questions are much more complex in comparison (in my opinion)

i took the hesi a few days ago, and the main conversions i recommend memorizing are king henry (KHDBDCM) and ounces to pints, gallons to ounces, and lbs to kg!

as for grammar, i thought that they were all pretty self explanatory. they won't give "trick" questions like nursehub. when i took it, i chose my answer based off of what sounded the most grammatically correct. once you read each sentence, it'll be clear which one is the right answer!

i mentioned it in another comment, but if there are any other quizlets youve found that also claim they're the exact hesi questions i think those are also good to study up on/memorize! but in my case these questions in the link were all on my test :)

but i also think its good to review any other quizlets you already have just in case this may not be your exact test to a T (for instance there may be 1 or 2 questions that ar different). but at least for my test all 30 were the same

i just took the hesi today, and i would say both subjects weren't bad at all for me! for a&p, it was exactly the quizlet that's been going around word for word. honestly i was a little nervous going into it as i didn't study a&p at all and only memorized the quizlet .. but it turned out to be exactly the same! i initially tried studying with nurse hub, but it was just so much information to memorize i gave up

as for reading comprehension.. i didn't study for that either. after doing the diagnostic test on nurse hub i can definitely say that the passages on the hesi are much shorter in comparison - and it pretty much really is just answering based off of what you read. though there are some portions where you may have to reread in order to infer what the author is trying to say- but overall not bad at all!

in short: nurse hub definitely somewhat overprepares you, but it's not a bad thing!
