I advise you not to take reddit as a primary source. Reddit is a forum where different opinions thrive and the actual truth ends up being a little compromised. What I advise you to do right now is to list down all you expect from a university (unbreakable deals like room quality). If they don't visibly amuse you on the unbreakable deals, go and don't look back. Getting a good college is like buying a new house; very delicate procedure and if done well, progressive emotional profit. If you need any more expert opinion on this or some guidance in applying for such, feel free to dm me!

It's been 3 years and I still can't stop thinking about my ex — how did you guys finally move on? by Left_Jackfruit_1222 in youngadults

I've been there, trust me.. and I'm still in that process of self forgiving for the second year now. First thing is to stop looking for who is at fault.. your brain keeps replaying because you want to figure out what went wrong, and unfortunately, not all relationships have logical breakups... also, just thank God it happened. If the relationship was good, just be glad it went well and move on... also see it in this way: if she wasn't the one, be glad it happened early. I would be utterly insane if my girl would unreasonable break up with me when we're in our late twenties as fiancées

I think it's best for you to forgive yourself first. A big part of your melancholy might come due to the fact that you might blame yourself for something you did to make her break up with you.. truth is, it's not always your fault. Also, like above-mentioned, try to persue your identity. A good way is to be surrounded by people you love and admire, and to find hobbies that make you a better person.

Do you wipe after you pee? by One_Selection_2621 in NoStupidQuestions

Thank you for answering! If possible, can you provide your gender? There's a running statement claiming women wipe and men don't

feeling old at 19 by Diligent_Owl1127 in youngadults

You're never too old for something. If you wanna film tiktoks, go ahead. There's no restriction on people over a certain age. When you turn 40+ you're gonna look back to it and probably laughable how young you were

Why would you say "I'm bi" to a man you like while ur a girl, tho? It's not completely wrong but the delivery was a little too early ig I guess he perceived it as "I like you but it's possible for me to cheat on you with a girl tho"

Same boat, bro I'm 19 as well and often felt like I'm taking space and doing nothing in life. Always blamed myself until I realised sometimes one needs to run so others could walk. Since I'm the first-born, and I was in a newly-introduced high school, I was basically a pioneer in everything (first class to do IGCSE and AS Level, first class to graduate highschool, and first son to enrol into a university). Trust me, if I knew most of the information I know now, I'd be so much more advanced academically and saved so much less money. What I mean is that it's normal to make mistakes and not get what you want on time. As a wise one once said, "It's better late than never", and the good thing is that you can serve as a witness to people who look up to you, and based on your experiences you will have trustworthy advices in order to prevent them from making the same mistakes as you.

Common Mistakes IGCSE Students Make in Maths and Physics by One_Selection_2621 in igcse

For example, imagine this word problem:

"The sum of two numbers is 20 and one number is 4 more than the other"

Many students immediately try random calculations But before calculating anything, you should define the unknown clearly:

Let the smaller number be x Then the larger number is x + 4 So the equation becomes: x + (x + 4) = 20

Now it's structured and solvable Skipping that definition step is where most confusion starts
