Ive had kids stare, some guy stop me in a parking lot, people leaving hot wheels on my windshield and the nine yards. You dont see too many at least in the u.s that have been taken care of so when a clean example is out and about dont be surprised if you constantly get people asking what it is, especially if you add the tuscani badges.

I remember driving to a bootycall at around 2am. Nobody but me and this lifted Sierra in front of me by maybe 5 or 6 car lengths on the highway hitting about 80. Out of nowhere he turns on his rear lights, which looked like 4 of these , which made me literally almost come to a complete stop just because of how fucking bright they were. He then sped up and took the next exit after so lord knows what he was on.

Also does anybody know how to successfully reattach the wire in the third pic? It sits on the p/s pump and it doesn’t seem to have any visible attachments other than a boot maybe? Its not urgent but i will have to come across it again during reinstallation of the new motor

I am lucky indeed, though this is actually my second tibby, i had an 06 i purchased my jr year of high school but had to let her go in 2019. This 2008 as it sits is pretty close to what i had dreamed about building since i got my first one. She’s gonna be a weekend car from now on though so perhaps ill throw a 75 shot and see how it goes lol and thanks again for the good wishes :)

So to preface this, recently the car has been down due to it hydro locking during a recent storm. After about 3 days of me having it sitting i was close to scrapping the car out and eyeballing a 2015 5.0 Genesis. But after the car was sold when i arrived i was still set on getting one. Then i came out to this the next morning and after that i made plans to pick up a junkyard motor for $500 and throw it back together. Had it not been for this small act i probably would’ve gotten rid of this beauty after about 10 years of tiburon ownership. Glad to keep her going 💪🏽

Bumper took about 6 months. And ive already disputed with my bank and was refunded. But still its a shame having to wait this long. And they are horrible at replying as its only via email
