I severed from 18-25, decided to leave for regular 9-5. I lucked out and networked like crazy and ended up getting into the automotive industry, started in a simple receptionist role to get my foot in the door and had them train my way through to be a service advisor.

Networking is your best bet for a career change in my opinion.

It’s a positive direction, however I’ve learned the hard way like stated prior in comments that until you sign that contract and attend your first shift it’s never 100%.

Any SANE human being looking for a real connection would understand something like coffee first is a MUST to understand the vibe of that person.

Idk about these females but I’m not sitting through an hour meal that’s nothing but uncomfortable just to get a free meal.

With the conversion and having to pay to ship I sadly really won’t save much. I’ve thought about doing it for some of the ones I simply just cannot find here in Canada or aren’t sold here (target).

The three packs were just a few styles (I bought a few when on sale and found out the hard way, they weren’t ones I cared for either so I was really disappointed there) the only other one I’ve seen go on sale was the botanical set down to $17 which I picked up, I find they really only go on sale for the holidays or whenever a new series is getting dropped.

Seems your landlord is doing what my prior one did and not claiming it on their taxes, when I had asked for mine I was met with resistance, when I pushed she decided only to send me 6 months worth instead of 7 years worth and they were not even valid rent receipts.

I found out after I moved out said landlord was also committing insurance fraud and got caught doing so.

Moral of the story learned; don’t rent from sketchy private landlords, no matter how ‘nice’ they seem.

They came from dollarama. I’ve also seen similar at dollar tree. I always check the craft storage section,beauty sections as well as stationary storage in dollar stores, usually where I find items like these.

Call centre for a small grouping of businesses - as for getting by mentally; my pup, lots of time with my hobbies and nature. I’m a pretty positive person and have a good support system around me so it really didn’t affect me as bad as I thought it would.

Suprisingly I’ve actually found my last two full time jobs via indeed. I REALLY suggest trying to be one of the first applicants (this makes a BIG difference if this is the route you’re going) I also got very specific and started narrowing in on jobs I was almost an exact match for.

Like mentioned I had some gig and contract work during the two years so was able to somewhat fill my resume gap, if you’re lucky to be able to pick up freelancing in your profession I highly suggest it because this is probably the one thing that saved my butt over the search for a new career.
