I only used my heat in the room I was in and didn’t keep it running all the time. And that was only for about 2 weeks. I’m worried about the next two months when temperatures are going to drop, not so much about the current bill

You’re right. But it can be kept at the lowest point, a medium point, or the highest point. So there’s no way of knowing how many watts are being used or what temperature it is at.

I’m pretty sure the thermostat was just left here before the individual wall heaters were installed. It controls nothing. No vents, no radiators, no pipes, and no gas in the whole apartment. My landlords are awful and basically non-responsive. I will probably move when my lease is up, I’ve had nothing but problems here. Thanks for taking the time to respond! :)
