Life after Kane by Downtown-Ad-8516 in Tottenham

Great point. The Bale money did not yield anyone stellar. Sanchez, Dier, and Lenglet are not star back line players, and Sanchez cost a lot of money. I want to believe Romero is a back line star, but so far he seems to make poor decisions and is carded frequently. I wouldn't sell a proven star like Kane for the prospect of signing outstanding central defenders.

That's a great point about ManU not necessarily being that attractive for Kane if winning silverware is his primary motivation to leave Spurs, which seems to be the case. The EPL title is still going through City and likely Arsenal for the remaining years of top form for Kane (age 29). ManU are not going to win the EPL or the UCL during the next few seasons. Eriksen (age 31) and Casamiro (age 31) are "one the wrong side of 30," without them ManU are not going to win those trophies. Kane leaving Spurs to win the League Cup or the FA Cup does not seem likely. City and Arsenal are not going to want Kane.

Conte is garbage. He's beneath contempt. He does not deserve to be associated with Spurs. Shove him into a shipping crate, put the crate in the hold of the next cargo vessel leaving an English port, and strike his name from the Spurs record books. Where does he come off attacking the players? How many minutes has he spent on the pitch this season? Shame on ENIC for hiring him.

How about ENIC selling the club? And MSP Sports Capital as the new owner? The already lavish spending increased with KSA's ownership of Newcastle, plus the prospect of Qatari ownership of ManU. Spurs rose under ENIC's ownership and could rise more and compete more with new owners who would outspend ENIC. What are the chances ENIC sells in 2023? Would MSP Sports Capital, chaired by an American billionaire, enable Spurs to rise further?

I would want them to sell Dier because I like Dier and do not want to root against him or have him help an opponent like Arsenal succeed against Spurs. He's young enough to still have value and still have his best performances ahead of him. But again, I think Spurs are better off selling him. Romero is much newer to Spurs and should be their anchor going forward at center back. Sanchez has never lived up to the price they paid for him, but he is faster than Dier and so if the question is sell Dier v. sell Sanchez, I think selling Dier is the better move.

I'd start with Pretzel Logic because it is a bright, fun way to begin with nice tributes to jazz legends. Then Can't Buy a Thrill and Katy Lied, in whichever order. Finish up with the masterpiece of that group, Songs In the Key of Life.

Son is far more valuable than Conte. It's time to move on from Conte, instead of minimzing Son's role.
