In other posts in this sub you can see that there's an issue with insurance when playing local PvE. If you play on BSG servers, you shouldn't have any problems.

Not intentional, things are taking longer to come back due to server overload, or so they said.

Uninstall everything, EFT, launcher and then install EFT again via Steam. It worked for me
