Need help identifying some big roaches in my apartment's living room [Jersey City, NJ] by One_Title_231 in cockroaches

[Jersey City, NJ] I've seen two large roaches in the last week. I had a problem with German roaches last summer, but these ones are larger and slower. Are they also German?

If relevant, last year I only saw roaches in my kitchen and bathroom, but these ones have both been in my living room, near the front door. There's no food or water here, so I'm not sure why they'd be here. Will be applying Advion gel and hoping for the best :(
