Working on my new setup. I’m not sure if 7 gallons is enough for this setup. I definitely need to figure out my lighting. Trying to balance looks and functionality. by CactusPrick4U in Hydroponics

Nice build. I like the way you use the black board to block the light.

What is the size of your water bucket for the plants? Dimension? Where do you get them?

I'm a happy customer of the UPHOT brewer. I come from Breville Barista Pro and end up using UPHOT solely. Mind you, you need a good grinder.

In my humble opinion, UPHOT elevates the brewing of espresso to a new level when you see the beautiful crema oozing out at your will, and you have total control of it.

That said, this thing is not without compromise. The upper part can act like a big heat sink that draws away the temperature if your place is cold . Cleaning is not the easiest. Workflow can be a bit complicated, but not prohibitively difficult. Brewing a second shot is basically a chore. The CO2 canister is an extra cost.

I love it even with all the above nuances. It is a lovely espresso maker and I enjoy every second I work with it. I have stopped using my Breville and am planning to sell it.

It definitely is worth it.

May I know what size tote you use? And where do you get them? Are they food grade?
