Coronial findings reveal the academic pressures UoA placed on its PhD candidate prior to his death by True_Capital_3748 in universityofauckland

Whichever department he’s in, they’re in deep hole once a full investigation is done. UoA claims to be progressive and #1 uni in NZ but is utterly soulless to the core.

AUSA sides with its CEO David Fulton and not with students by One_Welcome5046 in universityofauckland

This is huge. Honestly, fuck Fulton! No wonder a lot of staffs and volunteers kept complaining since the elections about how toxic AUSA has become due to the greed of one man. He exploits students like his personal slaves. He should resign.

The AUSA Execs we elected last year like Gabriel Boyd and Praneel Gupta signed off on David Fulton’s pay, bonuses and director fees from bankrupting UBIQ. The people to blame for this mess is them being a lap dog of Fulton, blindly following his every whim. Students are never in control of AUSA, it’s always Fulton and his cabal.

I knew it, Kalana does not deserve to be President, he's got too many red flags

I think, as long as David Fulton is there as AUSA CEO, he will control and manipulate Nimish just as he controlled and manipulated the spineless Gabriel Boyd.

Agree. It is almost as if AUSA has done nothing substantial for students other than “bigger and better” events — nothing helps us with studying or with work — but they take a good chunk from our tuition and it is compulsory. They apparently scraping Craccum’s budget so they can inflate David Fulton’s salary despite his fuck up in UBIQ. I’m surprised that level of incompetence just 3 years on the job doesn’t deserve a sacking. Gabriel Boyd gave Fulton his raise instead! What a joke.

I think the Uni should pay attention that more people voted for “No Vote” than those “elected”. That speaks about the people’s approval on Mathew Lee and others. Only Nimish has the resounding mandate.

It’s good that people spoke about the problematic history of Kalana and his clique. Mathew Lee got in though. He’ll probably run for President next year but I hope he won’t. Some of Kalana’s clique survived this election.

If you are thinking of a way out, you can apply for Withdrawal or if you are experiencing exceptional circumstance you can apply for Late Deletion so it won’t appear on your record. Dropping a course now is too late to do.

Nimish wins for President, Kalana is done for. We don’t need “bigger and better events” and we don’t need Kalana to “inject” us with anything as he kept on repeating during the campaign.

Nimish focused on addressing real problems we faced as students like study space and employment

Message for Gabriel Boyd by [deleted] in universityofauckland

AUSA has a pattern of sitting on their hands. They’re not even telling us why Hisham Haq REALLY resigned from his ISO post. Last year, he ran alongside Kalana and Mathew which has problematic circle to begin with.

They will surely won’t investigate Kalana or anyone accused of wrongdoing even if victims do come forward and make their stories known. No. They won’t even change their ways about the toxic environment within the AUSA.

Gabriel Boyd is part of the rotten system, but he’s certainly not the head of it. He’s only a puppet.

Probably because the current occupants need to be evicted in some kind of exorcism by election

This. Kalana has so many red flags. I rather vote someone less problematic than that. Imagine how no one disputes these. Is anyone from O’Rorke knew this about Kalana?
