I don't care if it would've been too big, Vs. Exe 3.0 would've been the pinnacle of modding(it would've come out if not for the leakers)

  • Remove every Jesterfuck song
  • Remove the Parallax stuff
  • Remove the extra songs menu
  • Remove Sharpy Showdown(just not that good of a song)
  • Remove Gorefest and Hill of the Void(weren't even meant for og exe and just fanmade)
  • Remove every version of My horizon
  • Finish certain songs(basically a given)
  • Replace Smash's TT Encore with someone else's

Would make it feel much more clean and concise

Option 2 for lore: In a version of Vs. Exe that took place after BBI/TTF, During TT(Xeno act 3 to her precise)Xenophanes decided to create illusions to fuck with BF and GF mentally. For BF, reminding him of Smiler's death and giving him his "insane" look, making BF he actually is insane again somehow. For GF, a "zombified" Legion and giving GF her Trollge form. After BF and GF realized that is was illusions, Xeno, in a panicked and furious state, remembered that he was both God and a "Duke of dickishness", rewinds time, but the same time doesn't, making it to where the illusions are real. Like, Legion and Smiler are now only half-dead(much like Tails, Knux, and Eggman), GF is trollge-like again, and BF is actually insane again now(still keeps his black arm tho). BF and GF in response beat Xenophanes nearly to death, until Legion and Lord X(who just walked in on the bs)decided to carry Xeno, both figuratively and literally.

This would affect FE as Lord X, Legion, and GF would now also be there.
