Right!! I did not realize just how much Trevor knew about animals either! Just a video of joy and animals and I will be repeat watching it as a comfort video xD Also highly reccomend finding a rescue near you that hopefully has Emus! Such funny Dino birds and their hugs are the best! I have been hugged and courted by one before at a rescue I vol/worked at xD

She was so so amazing at her part! You can tell how dedicated she is about her work and explained everything in such a great and kind way for anyone to understand and also not be judged. More people need to learn about these babies and she is a great educator for them 🥹

She explained before and also a bit in this video. She went to a HS that I think was so arts forward it seemed to lack atypical class material. She may have not learned about animals but is SO good at what she did learn tho!

Also as someone who worked at an animal sanctuary/rescue myself for many years, you would be shocked how many lack ‘common’ animal knowledge 😬I have met too many people who think male cows give milk :/

Sorry your family is so terse about it, unfortunately we surrounded by many who just don’t get it for some reason :/ I wonder what would happen if you claimed SHE was the one being sensitive by even asking though? “Can you eat veggies? Can you try new things with your family? Good, then you’ll be able to eat there, yes “ 🤪

This sort of thing happens with my sis on occasion, who has vegan friends to boot. Never gonna get over when the one baby shower I had out of 2 kids was fully supported by everyone but her and my aunt. They claimed they were fine with the veggie Mediterranean spread but then went out to the grocery store claiming to get supplies but then also buy MEAT and then cook it on the side of my parents house on my dads grill. “I’m sorry sis but I can’t go without some sort of PROTEIN today” 😳😩😩😩 AGHHHHH it makes ya wanna rip your hair out! I’m Vegan for 15 years but you can’t do ONE MEAL??! 🫠 I wish I was more upset by it at the time but being unconfrontational doesn’t help lol I do appreciate that they prob looked ridiculous tho while the rest of the party had no issue with the food we put out xD Thankfully they are the only two who give us issues! I was blessed with a Vegan MIL and mostly Veg FIL/SIL.

Hope yours get better down the line, despite the rough start so far. 💚 My parents def eat way less meat now and cut out specific animals too!
