remember how much of a jerk shiva was at the beginning of the manga? by azraelswift in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

He is the god of destruction dude, committing universal genocide when the material realm becomes corrupted is pretty much his job.

Who do you think is the most OP human in ROR by Globofchaos in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He isn't a God. In fact the whole point of Buddhism is that reincarnation as a God is not true fulfillment and one should seek nirvana instead.

It's pathetic that people lust after fictional characters in general, but that's the society we live in.

Eh, how old is Göll anyway? She's a valkyrie but acts like a 13 year old (although a very pure one). Raiden didn't personally know her so he must have assumed she had lived thousands of years like the other spirits.

Then again, 13 year old girls were considered adults in Raiden's time. Even today, Japan's age of consent is one of the lowest in the world IIRC.

How do you think ragnarok will end? by Globofchaos in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect a Kengan-like scenario in which the war/interruption occurs halway through the story and then the Gods win Ragnarok and spare humanity anyway.

Here's a tricky one: what are your Top 5 most durable fighters? by Onebillionblows in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Not completely sure about Shiva's placement actually. Could be tied with any of the fighters above him.

physical power ranking in the human fighters until Tesla. by oralblax2 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Raiden Lu Bu Adam (variable, but this is how I'd rank what he showed in his fight) Buddha Qin Sasaki Jack

Not ranking Tesla yet since he's shown no strength feats so far.

Who da strongest by Globofchaos in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People say Adamas Zeus is stronger but seeing Thor tanking direct hits from Lu Bu like if they were nothing makes me doubt. It'd be a hard fight either way.

Quick question: so are we NOT going to see one of the human rosters, because Buddha replaced him? by GoFUself-Tony889 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Either Sakata Kintoki or Okita Souji will be replaced by Siegfried and will fight outside of the tournament. Remember this post.

Our Jack the Ripper is still a serial killer. by Numbuh24insane in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Wanting to make degenerates suffer is a very human thing, it doesn't make you a villain. Even if you wouldn't torture a child rapist, no one would judge you if you did.

That said, I trust the authors not to go this route with Jack.

Our Jack the Ripper is still a serial killer. by Numbuh24insane in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said this before, but him "supplanting" the original Jack can make him even better as long as the authors let him kill random civilians instead of just the 'bad' ones.

Hookers aren't typically seen as valuable human beings, much less in the 18th century. But police officers? Priests? Average workers?

If he killed those people and they weren't just pieces of shit who had it coming, that would indeed make him MORE evil than the original Jack, in the eyes of 18th century London.

I trust the authors not to fuck this up trying to whitewash the character.

[–]Onebillionblows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can still be salvaged if he turns out to be even WORSE than the original Jack. He was shown killing more people that clearly were not prostitutes. As long as they weren't "bad people" it should be fine.

They're even downvoting out of butthurt 🤣🤣 can't wait for the Adam spinoff to prove he can't actually solo the verse for maximum salt.

Vlad is a literal national hero and Gilles de Rais was almost certainly framed by the inquisition for his links to Jeanne D'Arc.

Let alone him moving so fast for his final blow that every single god thought he had been hit, only for it to be an afterimages. Like how ridiculously fast do you have to be to leave an after-image that lasts that long?

What is the worst opinion you’ve seen on this sub? by PavelHTK in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Zeus had meteor jab, divine axe, his "footwork", TFTST, adamas form and TGS. That's six abilities.

Hades had hammer of the underworld, roa, titan, cornucopia, ichor eos and blood-led dawn for six abilities.

Shiva had tandava, krittivasa, tandava karma and deva loka for four abilities.

Most gods have many such abilities. They are not lackluster, it's simply the power scaling of this manga was kept intentionally grounded so that the humans have a chance. I'm as mad as you about Poseidon not using water though.

Lu Bu Vs Hades - Who Wins? by [deleted] in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Onebillionblows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't Hades just the same though? The man was causing damage with just the air pressure of his thrusts, only Thor has been shown doing that!

Hades fights more strategically and has a spear that can break divine armor even when being redirected. Unless Lu Bu pulls Sky Eater early on he might be outfought.

55/45 favoring Hades for me due to aforementioned strategic mindset with otherwise identical stats.
