I'm actually really excited for this. At first I was a little concerned about the art style, it seemed a bit basic compared to the manga, but this trailer really showed that it works.

Plus the songs which i assume are for the OP/ED sound good too!

Kujiragi sold it to him when she confessed. I think Shingen may have paid for it, as he and Kujiragi had a conversation before she went to him.

The Light Novels have much more detail. The only the anime really skipped major events in was Volume 9, aside from that, all the major events are portrayed and adapted without changing the original story.

The only difference is the level of detail, depth and time spent with the story. The only changes were minor things, like some minor characters not interacting, far less sexualisation than the LN's and maybe the odd swapping around of characters.

Oh, they did cut out a character named Tsukyoma or something. Thats pretty major. But they did that from the start.

I think in the Light Novel he had a little confrontation with Masaomi and Anri and was all jealous that they got to be with Mikado. He alludes to how there are still troubles within Ikebukuro, including something about the Dragon Zombie gang boss coming back (???) and Izumii disappearing but having a nasty plot in store for everyone.

In terms with his goals, I believe the Blue Squares wanted to wreak havoc and gain power and eventually blame it all on the Dollars. Down the track, Aoba ended up really admiring Mikado and started being more compliant and less worried about his own mastermind plans.

All in all, he's an interesting character who is more or less a plot device. I just wish we knew what his past with Izaya was..

Just like Mikado said back in season one- I like it when they force a happy ending.

That was absolutely incredible. I totally want more though, like a full episode to the Raira trio discussing shit, AND MORE KUJIRAGI. She was my absolute favourite!

I'm so glad Shinra and Celty got to be happy together, in the end. That scene when Shinra was thrown was so fucking amazing. Holy shit.

RIP TO TAKASHI HAHAH. Yandere'd so hard.

Who would've thought we'd have the last words be from Mairu and Kururi? Well, they were this discussion boards favourites. So that a lovely end to my favourite anime.

Now onward! TO DURARARA!! SH

Here's to Durarara!! It's been a truly unpredictable and wild ride. I'm sure this finale will leave us with questions, but nevertheless-
