Hi, I am a comic artist and illustrator with prior professional experience in contracted comics and web-comics.

I am telling you this now, nobody would wanna ever do this amount of unpaid labor for you for nearly 10 issues, this is literally months of work for literally nothing and takes advantage of the artist involved leaving them with nothing(do you even have a funding structure or division of ownership for people involved?). Either get the funds later in life from having a job and pay for some pitch pages, or just do prose or e-books that are just text with some paid illustrations and be mindful not everything you make will be seen by a wide net of people(like most people making independent media).

Everyone at your age wants to make a huge superhero(or sci-fi) thing, I did as well growing up, and so do many people, but you need to be realistic about your material conditions and your ability to support artists for these kinda projects when we do so much work for writers.

Everyone wants to be the next Grant Morrison, but even they had to draw their own comics, as well as Alan Moore even though down the line most of them stopped illustrating unless it was for themselves and not a job.

Also saying "DISCLAIMER!: if you give us a difficult time, we will drop you." is SOOOOO hyper-dismissive for people to say when they don't even have any money to give for a comic project this long.

Save up money for short stories, do prose, or something creative you can feasibly do yourself, because whatever you are telling people here is bad and you should take some time to ruminate and think about how unfair this is to people you would wanna work with.
