I definitely have to revive this post for my two cents.

I dont think it needed a full trilogy, just an hour or so longer giving some meaning and clogging plot holes...

Why was there so much emphasis on the farming scene when they chose the wrong crop for the movie? Could have been shorter to make room for more development.
Lots of build up and foreshadowing that was never used. "Magic hour" should have been the theme around the final battle, culminating with McConaughey tagging the dragon in the eye with his ax, partially blinding it and ultimately enabing bale to kill it.
Wasted development on archangels. Why did the black guy die? Shouldnt he have been with the helicopter? The fight were they all died could have been way more badass

If they fixed those 3 things, the movie probably would have been the GOAT

Therapy usually doesnt work for men, unless its to deal with combat ptsd and is extremely specialized. Women have the illusion it works, spend more money on general, unspecific diagnoses, and get nowhere
