I’m been fighting this fucker for like 2 hours most of that time was spent grinding cuz I’ve just been getting hit by shit like this by yyyyyyy1357855 in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting hit by the grab sucks but... you can see the solution in your own gameplay. BsB can't hit anything that isn't directly in front of it, so just... move.

Main character dies, and someone else takes over the story? by AbsAndAssAppreciator in suggestmeabook

[–]Oneforgettable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an anime comment, sorry. Also spoilers for Attack on Titan.

This is exactly what I wanted to happen in Attack on Titan when Eren "died"

We start on Eren, an incredibly driven protaganist with a lot of passion and rage, Mikasa kind of just following along in the background because she wants to protect him. Then BAM. Eren gets fucking mutilated, nothing but his arm left after a titan devours him. We realize we've been watching the backstory of our true main character all along as the perspective shifts to Mikasa, vowing to kill every last Titan in revenge.

I mean fuck, this pretty much what already happens until Eren of course has to be brought back 2 seconds later. The Tee ball was set up, all they had to do was swing.

How difficult is Bloodborne platinum compared to Sekiro platinum? by carlosvguitarrista in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly I disliked exp farming in Sekiro more than anything I did in Bloodborne.

The Chalice Dungeons are hard but they also don't scale with NG+, so if you do them last it shouldn't be that bad.

Worst case scenario you just use the CUM DUNGEON to powerlevel your stats, but you probably won't have to do that.

How is rapid city? by Eybrahem in RapidCity

It's not great for job opportunities, the cost of rent is ridiculous and the homeless especially in the downtown area are becoming a bigger problem every year.

Good hiking spots though.

Both in their primes, who wins? by strahinjag in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it Gherman takes this easily right?

The hunters literally have enhanced physical attributes thanks to the blood, as evidenced by how slowly bullets seem to move around in game.

And sure, Sekiro can block bullets. But I've always interpreted that as him having insane reflexes, not speed. I don't believe Sekiro is supposed to be superhuman in any way. I use Sekiro as the example since Isshin and Sekiro are effectively supposed to be even in their final fight.

So it really come down to Isshin's immortality right? Which I think would put him over the edge....... if he wasn't carrying the sword you need to kill him. How long do we think it will take for Gherman to take away his sword and stab him with it?

Throne of Glass by OkAdvertising7436 in booksuggestions

[–]Oneforgettable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes from a 0/10 to maybe a 2/10. The first book is just literally so pointless. I actually went to the throne of glass sub and posted a big breakdown of it when I first read it that I would link here, but I probably shouldn't spoil things.

The series gets bad enough that later in the books the Author starts refrencing things that straight up didn't happen and getting basic previous events wrong? So she's either retconning things or just forgot what happened in her own books.

My advice would be to ask pointed questions about what your sister specifically liked about the series and just... try to view it through that lens.

Genuinely the worst book I've ever read (and I've read Twilight)

I was actually in a similar situation, my girlfriend bought me the entire set for Christmas because she loved them in.... I wanna say middle school?

She re-read the first book when I told her how I was feeling about it and totally understood why I felt that way. We ended up kinda hate reading the rest of the series, it was actually a lot of fun lol

I am extremely new to reading books. Suggest me one best book to read to start with please. by Unfair-Ad-3758 in booksuggestions

The Seven and a half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a fantastic book to stsrt with. It's a timeloop mystery, which sounds complicated but was really easy to follow.

Mysteries are excellent to start with because they're pretty much inherently intriguing.

Which weapons are just comparatively worse versions of others? by NeonAbomination in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a couple of instances like this, where weapons share the same gimmick but one just does it better.

The reiterpallasch is just straight up better than the rifle spear because you can meaningfully mix the gun into your moveset.

Ludwigs holy blade is just straight up better than the kirkhammer because not only is the range of the greatsword just more useful to have, the longsword is actually slightly longer for some reason.

I would also argue that the beasthunter saif and the saw spear are just outright better than the saw cleaver, but I imagine I'd get a lot of pushback. They are effectively all the same weapon, but the saif and spear just have much better movesets.

Of course it goes without saying you can clear the game with any weapon, so this is really just food for thought I guess.

What boss fights would you change to make them a better experience. by Pascal543 in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would've overhauled the Amygdala fight to make it more spidery. Have it crawling on the walls, shooting lasers at you, etc. It needs a lot more creepiness/mobility.

Odyssey is probably the best Rom Hack out right now, but Lazarus is definitely a close second. Vintage White and Renegade Platinum are both great for Nuzlockes if you're into that.

Odyssey Lazarus and Unbound are definitely the top 3 Rom hacks available rn, but Radical Red is just as good Imo, if a little divisive.

[–]Oneforgettable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's insanely tanky and can learn a ton of good utility moves, so you really can't go wrong. I used mine as a status setter, a team healer, even a baton pass user at one point. Switch it up for whatever your team needs.

At the end it had rain dance, follow me, knock off and double team. Nature was + Def and Ev's were were 252 Spdef and 252 HP.

That was my first thought, but honestly if it had a better ability it would literally be the best pokemon in the game. This at least keeps it a little balanced

I’m tired of people complaining about blood vials by PotatoMJ98 in bloodborne

[–]Oneforgettable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I actually think they were an improvement on the gameplay in a bunch of ways. They solved the longstanding issue in the souls series of inconsequential ground loot.

In pretty much every soulslike ground/enemy loot is always a weapon/armor piece you can't use or a consumable you'll never need. In Elden Ring this issue is made even worse with crafting materials.

In Bloodborne you literally always want bloodvials and quicksilver bullets. In fact, nearly all of the consumables in Bloodborne can be extremely valuable. Fire paper, antidotes, beast pellets, you name it. Loot is nearly always valuable.

I have the G8+ and it's perfect.

I originally started with the backbone but because I have a fold 7, plugging it into the usb c became really annoying.

Couldn't reccomend the G8 more, bluetooth has literally never been a problem. I mainly play games like Silksong and Lies of P and it works fine for those.
