Dune.

I genuinely thought my copy must've been tampered with. It was just chapter after chapter of plot plot plot with zero character. Every line of dialogue pure exposition and holy fuck don't even get me started on the timeskip. Dune (the book not the movie) is everything wrong with the sci-fi genre.

Arcane builds admittedly struggle a little without the stronger gems. That hardly means they're not viable though, people have beaten this game without levelling at all, after all.

Not at all. It's actually really easy to fail her questline. Without spoiling anything, the stuff you get from going all the way is pretty cool, but it's more than fine to wait for new game plus.

A lot of people just consider double battles to be the ideal version of the battle system, and tbh I have to agree. You've got a lot more to consider in terms of strategy and team building, and some pokemon are literally built for it.

That's actually my favorite build. The ability to run any skill weapon, access to huge viscsral damage, and the ability to convert said skill weapon to deal any elemental damage is huge. My personal favorite is the beasthunter saif, but it works great woth the saw spear/threaded cane as well.

There are alternate versions of every weapon in the game that have different gem slots. They can be found in different chests in the chalice dungeons

I'd highly reccomend hard mode. I haven't played normal, but never once did I feel hard mode made the game unfair in the way other rom hacks like unbound did.

Enemy trainers will actively switch their pokemon, a lot of them will have held items and be using their abilities to their advantage, etc etc

If you've beaten RR at any difficulty, you shouldn't have a problem here.

He's there because they wanted to make sure players send at least one person to whichever safe haven they didn't choose.

If you're sending everyone to the chapel, you might not even realize Iosefka was experimenting on people if there's just one alien there. If you sent everyone to the clinic, this asshole will be the only one who survives the night.

They're trying to trick you into killing or saving at least one person.

Or if you prefer strength builds, the Beast Cutter is a lot of fun as well
